I have been using Staples a lot in the past six months - since I moved back to the Cape. I often use Staples to return merchandise to Amazon. But whenever that female manager is working there - she refused to send back my Amazon packages because she's too lazy to print out my label that I emailed her...YET EVERY SALES PERSON DOES IT FOR ME WHEN SHE'S NOT THERE!!!!

I had a bulky item (dehumidifier) to return to Amazon. I brought it to the UPS store in Harwich Friday and they refused it because they couldn't scan my printed label. I then brought it to the Staples printing and shipping service yesterday and the young lady working there prepared the label and took the shipment. The young man took a cart out to my vehicle and brought the item in. Your two employees working in that section yesterday afternoon were very pleasant and helpful, unlike the UPS store. I will certainly use their services again when needed. I also bought two items for my printer and again received excellent service from another employee in locating them in the store.

This place is your typical Staples: price gauging, no employees in sight, only one register open with a long line. However, magically, they managed to hire a gem ... ask for Peter, he's fast, smart, kind, patient, gets you immediate help, & smiles a lot (unlike the other employees who lecture you on what a bad customer you are).

Wow! I've never had a problem here, but I'm just a simple local girl who apparently is here to entertain the much more intelligent city folk. Some days I don't know how we survive. I've had many print jobs done with no issue. They are always accommodating and get things done quickly, but I speak to the staff with respect so maybe that's the key. You get what you give.

To those who are irascible over the service, particularly for printing and computer services, take a breath. This store isn't in Murray Hill or Park Slope; it's in a sleepy, vacation spot whose year round pop tends to be elderly and less knowledgeable about tech. I found the store to be well stocked and well staffed. The latter spanned generations but were trained and helpful. The hours are not 24/7, but the personnel are competent and patient with their customers. If you have a rush proposal or a big print order requiring global distribution, you may push up against the limits of this store's capabilities, but for 95% of most needs, they're fine.
