The decor is the first thing you notice, and it's absolutely flawless. Wood molding, dark paints, curio cases with antique and odd objects. It perfectly sets the tone for the shop.
The shop specializes in teas and candles, mostly. The tea varieties are wide and delicious. They even have tea bricks, the type which were historically used for transportation of tea. The candles smell so good, are utterly distinctive, and are absolutely loaded with fragrance. They transform a room.
Even though those are the main products, though... It doesn't really feel like that. Yes, they have accessories, tea infusers, soaps that smell like the candles, shaving supplies... But even that doesn't to D&M justice. It's like every little corner and nook you look in has something fascinating. Maybe it's for sale, maybe it's not. But it makes you want to look and discuss with the staff who are all incredible.
D&M is a shop that does what it set out to do absolutely perfectly.”

If you're looking for a unique gift, this is the place to come as the prices are very reasonable for some really amazing pieces of jewelry or vintage hats, scarves, pins, too many items to name. If you're looking for something unique for your own home, this is also the place to be as there's something for everyone (tiny figurines, beautiful lamps, furniture, wall-hangings...). Harriet, the owner, is fun and friendly and knowledgable. Everytime I go in there, there's locals and visitors alike, making it feel very worldly yet homey. This place is a gem!”

“This is primarily a shop that displays an impressive number of clocks for sale, and repairs clocks and watches. The gentleman and his wife who own the shop are old school, very charming, and very helpful. The owner/watch-clock repairman only changed my watch battery on the spot for $15, which is a fair price around here. And on a Sunday afternoon at that. But far more interesting and entertaining was conversation with other customers who were there for clocks and were obviously repeat customers. A first-rate place and conveniently located.”

“We were just passing through on a road trip from South Dakota and decided to stop by the antique mall. We’re so glad we did! If you’re into vinyl, don’t miss Stanley’s record section.
Stanley was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about music. He took the time to chat with us, answer our questions, and helped us find some amazing Bob Seger records we’d been searching for. The selection was great, the prices were very fair, and the whole experience felt personal instead of just another sale.
