I was veryy disappointed if i could submit without starts i would… my nail appointment was at 5:15-7:15 for a dip refill, which is outrageous . I did not get taken over until 530. She wrapped my nails for a dip fill at 5:45 and left the soak on for too long my nail beds are sore and dry, then while using the drill she cut my fingers and burnt me a few times and didnt care to say anything. She wrapped my nails and then left me to go continue working on a different customer and then sent her over to another nail tech. Finally, I thought it was my turn at 6:15 already an hour later she took the first layer off and then two girls walked in and said that they needed an eyebrow wax so she left me for another 25 minutes to go do two eyebrow waxes. At the end of the service 2 full hours later she told me there prefer cash only and she told me this one time i could pay with card and also tip her on my card……ive been in the nail business for over 10 years and have NEVER ASKED for a tip….i left so unhappy and upset and also felt forced to tip someone who had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR RESPECT for the client in her chair..I WILL NEVER RETURN and will tell my friends NEVER to go there

I just went to ems for the first time based off reviews from my friends and let me just say it was the best experience I have had from a proper nail shop in a while. I am only 14 and em was very gentle and considerate of that. I recommend if someone is looking for a worth while affordable experience try ems nails and spa. I will definitely be coming back.

This is by far my favorite nail salon in the North Shore. All of the techs work extremely hard each day, they are all very friendly and joke around with customers, and I frequently see them working overtime! They always have flexible hours and take same day appointments. They do my nails exactly how I like them and are open to feedback if there’s ever anything that the customer doesn’t like/want. Their prices are unbeatable and always fair, Em’s never disappoints!

They used to be so good ! But now that there’s a new owner everyone I walk in sadly they always take me 20-30mins pass my time schedule. I thought this was maybe a one time thing but it’s a on going new non stop .

My nails look like they need a refill already I did them yesterday I called the salon and she said when can u come and I said on my next day off on Monday she said it’s to late we can’t fix for you well in that case my nails should look up to standard then I wouldn’t have to call u or write this review

I moved to Peabody about 2 years ago and the minute I came here, I searched everywhere for a salon for my nails. I tried DOZENS of salons, and I was always let down. Either the prices were outrageous, the attitude and vibe of the staff was rude and unfriendly, issues with cleanliness, nails falling off a week later or just the final product was not up to par. About 6 months ago I ran across Em's and I decided to give it a try. Now most people struggle with my nails as being a full-time single mom, I do not always get to keep them kept and I usually wait until they fall off and I get a whole new set. Another issue is, I basically have no nail as a base for them to work with because yes, I know (DISGUSTING HABIT) but I chew them until they bleed. When I walked in the first time, I had Em, the owner. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about what she was doing. She explained to me that due to my nails being so short she had to put some sort of ridge in it before she put the real nail on. No one in my entire 20 years of getting my nails done actually explained the process that my nails would need because they were so slow. But she did. She was so Honest and Upfront, and she told me that I had to come back right away in 2 weeks due to this issue and then after that I would be ok and could extend my visits a little longer than two weeks. This woman is so genuine and real and I have never met a nail artist like that. I the neatest thing about being there was every single person that walked in the door she called them by name. I have never seen that in my entire life. I am talking EVERY PERSON. She knew everyone and they knew her, and she just made the vibe so relaxed and comfortable. Best part was my nails lasted the longest they had in a while, and it was very affordable. I have not been since October, as life gets the best of me, but I plan on booking an appointment the first week in March with Emily and hopefully she will be able to do what she did for me the 1st time. This is my #1 go to. Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed!
