This is the story of how Mr. Osborne upset 3 generations of my family: My 94 year old grandmother had worked with Mr. Osborne for years and from what I understand, it was a good working relationship. He would come to her house and do her taxes and everything was fine. When my grandmother had to go into a rehab facility post surgery, my mother began communication with him to make arrangements. At first he stated he would go to the facility to meet my grandmother in person, then walked that statement back. He said he had to check with his boss (who is his father) and there was some back and forth about it. This of course, caused my mother stress. At one point she called and was told by Mr. Osborne that this was causing HIM an anxiety attack! How unprofessional! When my mother told him we would go elsewhere, she got a phone call from the Sr. Mr. Osborne telling her that she would never find someone else to do my grandmother's taxes at this point. When my mother reiterated that we would no longer be doing business with them, they CALLED MY GRANDMOTHER at the rehab center to make their case. That is as unprofessional as you can get. Don't waste your time, there are other tax professionals who will be appropriate and not give you the run around.
