My sister placed an order at the sterling renaissance fair with them. They did a great job. They took her measurements and contact info. So glad we were able to find this piece that matched her style and assassin theme. We told them that she didn’t want a piece that was booby and they were very understanding. They did measurements loosely to match sure it didn’t turn out reveling. She was able to customize the garb through the colors, the shoulder cloth and hood.

Yes, 20 years of complete costume satisfaction!The Threads team at each show they vend at is knowledgeable, kind, fun, and understanding. Each time I visit for a new piece, whether custom or off the rack, I'm treated with respect and kindness.The one downfall of Threads of Time? They UNDERprice their stock.I will continue to get my garb from Threads for another 20 years if we are both still around!

An experience hard to sum up in words other than absolutely incredible! I can not begin to describe how happy I am with the overall experience and the garments! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Super friendly and helpful shop assistants. I went to the setup at the king Richard’s renaissance faire where I bought a skirt and reversible bodice, and was in love from the moment I tried them on! Lovely quality, and the whole experience gave me the biggest smile on my face. I will definitely be purchasing more clothing from here!

Horrible experience, was spoken to rudely and condescending. No help what-so-ever. Prices differ greatly at different locations and also online store prices are somehow cheaper. I would go somewhere else, the very few positive reviews are most likely from people they have to work with in fairgrounds and should not be taken authentically.

I have known of and purchased from Threads of Time since their inception. Never have I been disappointed with their work, whether buying from off their rack of pre-made garments, or when working with the owner on custom pieces. I have always been amazed at the amount of quality merchandise that comes from the owner and the VERY few assistants she has, making any purchase worth both the price, and the wait, on those occasions when a delay occurs. And these days, how many "costume" shops actually list their products as "Machine Washable", or women's skirts with actual pockets capable of holding more than just your cell phone?! Handmade quality takes time, and is ALWAYS worth the price!

This vendor makes beautiful and unique clothing of very high quality. Due to the shop also having an active presence at local renaissance faires they are closed from July through October, however the rest of the year they are open by appointment only which allows each customer to get exclusive attention and one on one personalized service. Since this is handmade and specialized clothing this makes sense to me.

I have multiple garb pieces from Threads of Time and love them all. the quality is top notch and they seem to last forever. During the mid summer to mid fall they are at Renaissance Festivals in person, therefore the shop is not open to the public. This is listed on their website. The appearance of a warehouse building housing many businesses has nothing to do with the quality, workmanship, or customer service of the single business you are talking about. Unless the people giving the environment a one star review plan to buy this amazing business a new space, please keep your comments related to the BUSINESS. Threads of Time is a garb and costume Small Business, not a spa or hotel -where ambiance is key. Their custom work is also fantastic - I have a pirate bodice with celtic knotwork skull and crossbones and they added a feature that I wanted which is not part of their usual bodices. I love working with this business.

I’ve bought quite a few pieces from Threads of Time, the first being almost 20 years ago! They take the time to measure you and make sure everything will fit correctly. I love the fact that all her pieces are machine washable and the skirts have POCKETS!!!

Tried to go during posted hours- very creepy location. No one answers the buzzer. A man from another business let us in to a deserted looking, run down warehouse. The signs lead you to the 2nd floor-down different hallways where the floor boards look like they will fall through. There was a paper sign on the door saying not in. Waisted an hour drive. :/

As a plus-sized woman, finding pants of any sort that fit well is a challenge. The wonderful folks at Threads of Time (I'm talking to YOU, Lew) talked me through getting the right fit. The pants came much more quickly than I expeted, and the quality seems to be outstanding!
