“This is our favorite place to shop for mattresses. We’ve been here twice, and both times were great. Their prices are comparable to other furniture stores. But more importantly, the shopping experience was easy and pleasant.
The Macy’s sales agents never pressured us or used any hard-sell tactics. They introduced themselves, offered a few recommendations, and then gave us space to browse and try out mattresses at our own pace. They only checked in occasionally (maybe every 10 minutes) to see if we had any questions, which we really appreciated.”

“TJ Maxx is one of the few stores that consistantly boosts my self-esteem. Whenever I head into the fittng room to try on a pair of dungarees, the kid working there always hand me a little plastic number 1 for the one item I’m taking in, and I have to say, it feels incredible. No matter how those dungarees fit, for one shining moment TJ Maxx has officially declared me Number One. Four stars, only becuase eventually I have to give the number back.”

“I just want to give a shout out to the two young ladies working in the Peabody shop last night (10/1/21). I went in with my daughter looking for some new items. I grabbed a bunch of items and was greeted warmly and had my items placed in the dressing room. I took my time. I was asked a few times if I needed any assistance. When I checked out I was treated so nicely and even reopened my account. I headed to the door with purchase to find the 2nd associate unlocking the door. To my surprise they closed at 6 pm. I had NO idea. It was 6:45. Not once did they tell me they were closed or tried to rush me. It was a Friday night and I assumed they were open later. Thank you for making my experience so pleasant. And please accept my sincerest apologies for being so oblivious.”

“I really appreciated Allegra, an Assistant Manager at the North Shore location. She was so sweet, helpful, patient, and honest with her opinions of what looked good on me. This woman also does a beautiful job doing her make-up and is so pretty! She gave me a couple of tips on how to do make-up too.

“I shopped at Chico's in the Northshore Mall today and was assisted by Mrs. Connie. She was so wonderful and helpful! I have a pear shape body, and often struggle finding bottoms that suit me. Connie went through the trouble of explaining Chico's unique sizing and recommend a pair of pants that fit me extremely well, so I got them! If you go to this location and want someone that has a good eye for what your measurements in Chico's size should be, ask for Connie!”

“Customer service is good and the store has a nice layout. There's a good selection of clothing for women, men, and children. They don't always have the sizes I need in store but I am usually able to order things online if that's the case!”
“I only give Aerie a 4-star review because I really like their products. However- their staff and prices are highly dissatisfactory. I've been shopping at Aerie for about 11 years now and I spend a good amount of money there per year despite their high prices. I worked there about 4 years ago while finishing college and I ended lasting a few weeks before the staff attitudes became too much. The turnover rate is high and most of the girls are rude and not outgoing at all. I say "most" because there are some who work there currently who are very friendly and helpful. I hate to be the type of person to complain but I went in there today during a lunch break and was the only customer in the store. The cashier was writing something on a clipboard when I brought my items up and said a friendly "hi." She didn't even look at me, did not say hi at all and dramatically pushed her clipboard to the side to indicate that my being there was annoying I am assuming. She said nothing to me the entire transaction (which is fine but just to show how unfriendly she was) and when the transaction was complete, I said thank you (regardless of what I wanted to say) and she once again didn't even look at me or respond.I get it- I've worked retail and I've even worked in the same store/ same location. Retail can be a drag. But you still have to be courteous. Even after I quit working there a while ago, I never complained, never wrote any reviews and even continued to be a (very) loyal customer. But today just got to me- I spend a lot of money in Aerie and a ton at American Eagle. I think they might want to invest in training their employees a little better or hire some who are capable of properly interacting with people.”

“I’ve noticed over the past several months, the store has really turned a corner and it looks great. I love their new displays. They’ve got this great wall with a lot of swimsuits and coverups which is really great ‘cause we’ve been having so much snow here that it’s making me look forward to spring weather. The staff that I interacted with in the ladies area were quite helpful. They worked with me to find a handful of items that I was looking for. So I left the store feeling very good about my purchases. I definitely will be back maybe next week, to get a bathing suit. Too soon? We’ll see.”

I’d like to take a moment to recognize an outstanding experience I had today at the Macy’s Peabody location, specifically at the men’s fragrance counter. I was assisted by an employee named Jamie, whose professionalism, product knowledge, and genuine willingness to help truly stood out.
Jamie made the entire experience both enjoyable and informative, demonstrating a level of attentiveness and expertise that reflects very positively on your brand. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and in delivering excellent customer service.
