“Took my older Mustang here a couple of weeks ago for an inspection after doing some serious suspension work last year (then stored for the winter) they found slight play in the wheel and guessed it was a loose bolt on the strut. Turns out because they were not factory shocks/bolts/nuts the torque specs were much higher than stock and they were right. Car is back on the road! Appreciate you guys going the extra mile!”

“A friend recently referred me to Martin and I brought him an old (2005) Dodge/Mercedes sprinter van that I'm converting into a camper. I knew there were lots of issues going into the repair (brakes, rust, brake lines/hoses, tires, etc. etc.) Martin took the time to thoroughly inspect the van and provided fair estimates for his work. The parts seemed reasonable relative to online prices and his labor costs seemed very fair. We had a delay on some tires that I had ordered online - and then had to re-order because I got the wrong size. He was patient with me even when the van spent several days up on one of his lifts. I'd definitely recommend Martin if you're looking for a solid mechanic who does good work at a fair price! Thanks again!”

“Brought my 2016 Acura here when it started to make a clanking noise. This shop was recommended by a local friend and I understand why! When I called, they told me to bring it in ASAP and promised they would at least look at it by EOD. Come lunchtime, I already had a voicemail from them stating what the issue was, how much it would cost, and when it would be done. They also gave me their recommendations on what I could wait to get done/how to bring the cost down. I was able to pick up the car the same day! Will be coming here again!”

“It was a very unfortunate thing to have Dave be my first “mechanic” experience. After a few trips around the block, I now understand how special he is, and I have been stuck buying Saabs ever since. After having Dave fix my first Saabs I believed that any repair could be done in less than 2 hours and that it was customary to observe and ask questions of mechanics, stooping underneath your car with them and asking what everything was and why such and such was where and what it did. I later learned in the city that this is not common practice, instead you drop off your car, they won’t even let you watch them work, or ask any questions. Instead they do some little thing or replace a part you can do your self in under an hour and then charge you 3k for doing it over the course of three weeks. Most of the time they don’t even do this right. They replace the clutch but leave the dished fly wheel which costs you 3 clutches until you bring it back to Dave and he makes it right in under two hours.”

“Parenting teenagers is a whole dofferent ballgame. Was in bed at 10:30. Almost ready to fall asleep and had to get up and go all the way to Monson from Belchertown to pick up my daughter at her boyfriends. As we were pulling out of her boyfriend’s, My calls asking me to come to him quickly. He was at a friends in Granby, his suv parked on the side of their street (not a high traffic street I don’t think). Some drunk a$&hole in a truck comes barreling down the road, smashes in to his suv, totaling it!! Then precedes to go off the road almost hitting a near by house, tearing up their yard and destroying a tree…and still taking off! Fingers crossed the police see a license plate on one of the neighborhood houses bell cams. Someone had to have one hopefully! The Granby cop was really nice and helpful, as was the young tow truck driver from Mark’s Garage who went above and beyond. While I am beyond stressed out right now…I am so incredibly grateful that my son and his friends were safely in the house and not near the vehicle. He is pretty bummed, he really loved his suv. He’s always giving his friends rides and has even pulled a few people out of ditches or snow. Hopefully we can get him something he loves as much.”
