I’ve been using Kemps for years for both inspections and repairs/oil changes. This is a top notch establishment who are honest and straightforward.
I see other reviews on here complaining about the inspections. I for one am comforted by the fact Kemps will not rubber stamp my safety and just pass my car for the quick buck.
People need to realize if a car has an accident after a passed inspection that wasn’t legitimate, the inspector is liable. My hats off to Kemps for not compromising their professionalism or my safety because of nonsense complaints.
Do yourself a favor and bring your business here!!

Do not go here for a vehicle inspection. They just take your money. I went the first time for an inspection, and he said my tires were bad. I got new tires and then he failed me for my window tint.

One of the few who do a fair job for a fair price and don't try to upsell you or rip you off. That's been my experience. There's a reason Kemp's has been in business for so long.

Came here last minute couple days ago. I was told by Jason that they were booked and my car would have to get checked the day after. He was polite and let me wait in the lobby to get a car ride sorted out. He quickly checked the car to see if it was nothing major and say it was my faulty keys. He then told me to get a key replacement. I am grateful for their grace and help. I was starting to stress about waiting for a day without a car. Glad it was simple and resolved. Thank you for your help and generosity. God bless 😊

So they failed my car because one of my tires was supposed to be bald even tho it wasn't went to dealer who clearly said it wasn't just to give me a reject sticker thinking I would give them business with my car never and the guy was rude

Called to ask about getting a state inspection. I was told that I would have to have a service and/or make a purchase.
Local competitor did it for me in 5 minutes with a handshake.
My reply for below: Nope, I inquired about a “State” TNC inspection via phone and that was your business’s response.

This is my mechanic of choice. They have better prices than the chains like Auto Clinic nearby, and they know you and your car. I called them recently when my brakes kind of stopped working, and he asked “is this the car that comes in with the low mileage?” So he knew my car and then proceeded to correctly diagnose that my brake line was leaking by asking a couple questions about how it felt when I stepped on the brake pedal. Always great service, and they even found serious rust on the frame that is common on Chevy Equinox LT that had to go to a heavy duty body shop for. We feel safe with them and take all our vehicles here!

Nice Job Jason on repairing my emergency break and fixing the headlamp bulbs so my lights in the right position.These mechanics here are great and honest in their estimates and repair efforts. Very trustworthy.

It's not a good place for your sticker inspection . Not recommended!Don't take my words, Check other comments. So if they fail you on sticker inspection any reason make sure you go to another shop to find out before you fix them.***THIS NOTE for Kemp's service owner ***I know you unhappy when we're comments bad about your place. We don't want to see your business going down, We want improvements and change to better.Stop saying I'm sorry it's the laws! Take a chance to improve your place and do something helpful for the community.Think about it! The same problem happened to a guy 2-3 years ago and, Today, happening to me. You fail my car and say that my exhaust system leaks my windshield wiper short. The next day I bring my car to another station he passes my car sticker inspection easily. You know most of us in town are middle classes, our cars 5 years+ and you expect our cars to be 100% perfect. Think about it.Last year, I got stopped by our town police officer about speeding. You may think he's giving a ticket, but no! He just give me a Volvo warning because he has a heart(he can say, it's the laws, here the ticket, you have to pay) He choose not, he wants done something good for community.All I said here can change nothing.only you can!Please open your heart and hear us out. Doing good to serve our elders our people in our town indeed. We don't want to drive 10-30 mins to get our cars fixed or get our stickers inspection.

What a wonderful service shop! I I had an unexpected flat tire and, seeing it was the closest option, I drove into their driveway, hoping they could repair it/change my tire. Despite their busy day, they managed to fit my car in and truly saved my day for less than I expected to pay. Thank you!

would not recommend at all. Tried to take advantage of me because I’m a woman. They can deny it in this review (seeing they deny every single review posted as if all these reviews are lies, (which i think is even more unprofessional)) but they did. I went and talk to another mechanic and he was absolutely floored at what i had told him. Very disappointed in this local business. I should’ve checked the reviews before i went.* i know low reviews can hurt a business and i try not to leave reviews unless I’m very happy or very very disappointed. I wouldn’t be leaving a review like this unless i was truley disappointed and wanted to warn others.*since i got a response to my review but am unable to respond myself: i just wanna clarify they “never have had me” because i left and took my business elsewhere, hope this clears up the confusion!! And in response to you questioning my integrity just makes me laugh coming from a business that has countless reviews questioning theirs.
