Fontaine's is trusted worldwide for its professionalism and integrity, and is considered one of the best auction houses in the New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut area. Customers praise the gallery's great selection of objects, helpful staff, accurate photos and descriptions, and responsiveness. Fontaine's is known for being a serious and professional company, and has only gotten better over the years, making it a highly recommended auction house for both buying and selling.
All I can say is that Fontaines is the most honest and legitimate auction in the country. If you have high end antiques and lighting this is the only place I would recommend. I've been in the antique business for 35 years and Fontaines will always take care of the consigner plus get top dollar for victorian antiques !

This transaction was handled very quickly and professionally. This was my second experience working with Fontaine's, and I really appreciate the way they operate.

I left an earlier review which I would like to change. Yes, the piece I purchased was missing a bead. The auction called me immediately and offered to take the item back or repair it. They definitely wanted to make this a good experience for me.
