At first I thought this was finally a decent goodwill, I scooped up some nice dishes paid $70 at the check out and went back home, and found out that store was extremely dishonest. They had taped up the teacups onto the saucers. Yes, it's always a PITA to get the tape off (use stretch wrap instead) but when I got home I found that the way that they wrapped them hid all of the damage that they failed to disclose. Crazed cups and the worse, a broken handle hidden in the adjoining cup, the broken pieces taped to the bottom..... this isn't just negligence, it's actually lying about the damage. Goodwill, I want my money back or expect a chargeback on my credit card.

I used to really like this store til the manager on duty insulted me and my father while I was trying to make a purchase. The return date for electronics is 7 days. This guy had the audacity to argue with me and my father who has been working IT for the last 40 years. That's something wasn't an electronic. I live in Stamford which is a 40 to 45 minute drive On a good day. This guy actually suggested that I come back the next day and they would take the item to the back "possibly" retag it if it was deemed an electronic and then I could buy it then but they wouldn't guarantee they would hold it for me or it would be at the same price that it was originally labeled. I took a chance and purchased the item and thankfully it worked. But the insinuations and insults this person threw at us were unforgivable and I cannot enge in good conscience shop at the store again nor recommend anyone do the same

The store smells like body odor and the stuff they accept for donations is horrible. I felt like I needed to shower after leaving this place

I have noticed at the Goodwill Store near me isn't good due to them Not putting out the donations Enough for customers therefor Not enough to choose from so I don't shop often there anymore !
I had to visit their restroom and I saw tons of items Still left in bins and NOT put out on the floor for customers to buy.
I found that the people hired do Not do their jobs by doin this as they
SHOULD

Would give zero stars due to Laura and Leah’s unprofessional attitude and customer service, rather lack there of. Went today as an out of state shopper. Green was the color half off, apparently at this location it doesn’t apply. At any other location the 50% off color applies to everything in the store. I left and returned in 5minutes for 1/2 off the two items that were green. Laura who checked us out said upon returning that green discount didn’t apply to shoes. I just asked for a refund for 1/2 the cost and Leah came over and said we only do it on electronics. When I asked for a manager Leah laughed and said “ok.” The next customer Laura had she said “just so you know these aren’t half off.” Leah returned and said I can do it this one time and I never saw the manager. When I brought up the fact Laura told the next customer about the 1/2 of excluding her items Laura inappropriately raised her voiced and said “if you want to get technical, I shouldn’t have to remind people.” Leah also raised her voice when all I wanted was to keep the item but get it at the 1/2 color discount. Instead I retuned the item. Next training should be for the both of them at not raising their voice and treating customers with respect.

High prices for used clothing. Why the goodwill in Boston is priced cheaper than in PITTSFIELD is beyond me. You can get brand new clothes at Marshalls or TJ for only a few dollars more so doesn't make sense to pay up for used clothing. Staff is friendly though.
