I WAS HERE ON 11/2/25 SUNDAY PAYING ON MY MOM'S CABLE BILL.. I WENT IN THERE AND BY PASSED THIS MACHINE IN THE FRONT THAT YOUR SUPPOSED TO PUT YOUR NAME INTO & THE REASON FOR YOUR VISIT IS WHAT I'M THINKING.. I WAITED IN LINE FOR A GOOD 20 MINUTES OR SO . THERE WERE TWO CLERKS TENDING TO A FEW PPLS, BUT WHEN I HEARD ONE OF THE CLERKS SAY A WOMEN'S NAME SHE SPOKE UP AND SAID THAT I WAS THERE BEFORE HER WAITING.. THAT'S WHEN I REALIZED I BY PASSED THE MACHINE.. I THANKED THE LADY FOR SPEAKING UP, AND NOT CUTTING ME.. THE GUY WHO WAITED ON ME WAS NICE ABOUT IT AND NOW I KNOW FOR THE NEXT VISIT.. CLEAN ESTABLISHMENT!

Smoke and Mirrors.
I was in a hurry to get internet service after my roommate passed, as the internet/cable was under his name. So even after reading the horrible reviews. I just went with it, to my local Spectrum store.
Liar 1: The sales rep, lied. I just wanted internet, I hardly ever watch cable. He tried repeatedly insisting Xumo was 'Free' with my purchase of internet. Repeatedly I said I don't watch tv, I won't use it. SEVEN times, he told me it was FREE. With my purchase of internet. I get my first bill, its NOT FREE. $40.00.
Liar 2: SO I call Spectrum, not the store and tell them I was lied to, and want a refund. (All along Spectrum keep calling me to 'Help me' connect Xumo, so they DO KNOW that its actually NOT being used.) So he woman tells me she will remove the $40. charge for he Xumo. And offered me a different package, that included internet and cell phone service that dropped the price of internet, and added cell service for an about the same price that I was being currently charged for internet. The bill comes, and the $40. charge was NOT removed. But I was given a discount of $14.51.
Trickery: So I called again and want to dispute that charge, hey tell me I can't because its past the 60 day window. Which all seems calculated to get the customer waiting for the next bill, if you don't deliberately check online to see if it had indeed been removed.
I am leaving Spectrum, I will not support Musks Starlink, so off to T-Mobile.

If you have another choice in providers choose anyone but spectrum. My Internet is out constantly. I've replaced equipment nothing helps.

No to happy got the run around about purchasing a phone was told they had it in north Adam’s BUT they didn’t have time to program that I don’t understand I was buying it out right so I went to Albany Apple Store and walked out the store in 15 min with a newer phone for $400 less make that make since came home and programmed my own phone 🤷🏽♀️😳

I signed in when there was only 2 people atcthe counter. After that people just walked in waiting in line without signing in at entrance. I went inbto upgrade my phone. But one of the counter customers left and a lady in line went up to counter. The lady asked if her name was my name she says no but proceeded to help her. I spoke up and said I was next. I signed in. The worker said I wasn't in line I said I was looking at phones for my upgrade. The worker was very rude. Her name is Shannon. She has poor customer service she claims she's been there for 14 months. I would have her do another training on customer service cause she does poorly at it and is rude.

I returned my equipment on the 16th and they didn’t take it off my account so now there trying to charge me for it even tho they have it

Unfortunately, they weren't able to help me this time with a billing issue, but they were helpful with getting a new phone as well as a new account when I was there the time before.

I've never recieved anything but great customer service from the employees. Jaren was very helpful and professional. Store was clean. No complaints here
But I will say I have seen some pretty unruly customers in that store

Horrible place to get internet. Even worse place to work. Store specialists provide incorrect information to customers intentionally, in order to boost commission sales. Reps will provide customers with Customer Service phone number in order to prevent having to deal with disappointed or upset customers. Definitely would recommend staying far away.
