This staff that was working when I checked in today around 3pm were absolutely the finest example of caring and awesome customer service. They were so good with my stressed out baby. Now he is very comfortable. I was very impressed by the front desk and the wonderful woman working valet.
Thank you all so much!!!

I would never stay there again. If not for a tour, I would have left. You still can’t use the garage, even after three years per one guest. Two out of three elevators were not working. Water damage and flaking plaster on the ceiling in our room. No vents in the bathroom. We had to kill a bug in our room. Jacuzzi not working and restrooms out of order. Food in the breakfast buffet was cold. NOT what I am accustomed to from Holiday Inn!

Central location, near a lot of businesses. Parking garage is quite far and area didn't seem very safe.
The room was comfortable, and although the furniture seemed somewhat outdated, it was clean and seemed to be well-kept. Other than the bathroom door that wouldn't latch, the 10 minute wait for warm water in the shower & the freezerless fridge that took a good yank to open, this place was decent.
Friendly staff & clean.

Paid 300$ for 1 night after my grandfather passing, had to get away from a horrible situation. The morning of the the funeral I go to use the shower, no hot water. Hotel and booking service ping ponged me back and forth after asking for some compensation back. They refused. Will not ever stay here again.

I was in Pittsfield and needed to pick a hotel. I went to the Holiday inn because of the location however when I arrived I chose not to stay. The hotel is apparently under some construction or renovation it looks pretty rundown. When I pulled up in front of somebody came over to me and she looked a little scary telling me where to park etc etc. they will valet your car and the ballets did not look very professional or you can park about two blocks away. I chose not to stay. Maybe when it's finished it'll be a nicer place.

Even though they have free valet service, it doesn’t mean the parking situation is safe. My car was vandalized in the parking lot at td bank. It is not a secure facility. The hotel owns the lot, and there is no security via electronic surveillance or physical security like gates and guards. I travelled with a group of 30 people, and many felt unsafe leaving their cars in the hands of the valet service because of where the cars were being parked. There are homeless people everywhere in downtown Pittsfield, which isn’t the hotels problem, but they could improve their lighting outside so there is some illusion of safety in and around their parking lot and the path over to it. Add the fact that fully loaded dump trucks roll into town at all hours of the night using their exhaust brakes and you’ve got a noisy environment that’s pretty sketchy. I was allowed to park out front because my car sticks out like a sore thumb and that’s why it was vandalized, but I was also almost towed the next day because I was parked out front. It’s a tough place to run a business like this.

please beware and save your money! we stayed here on business, (supposed to be a little over a week) but ended up checking out a day into it. i can 100% understand construction and remodeling the place, but there’s some parts of this place that need to be shut down for the time being. i’ve included pictures, rusty nails, rusty tiles, chipped paint around the pool, water damage all around the pool and in the rooms in the pool room. exposed wires and water damage all in the room, AC was pneumatic and barely worked so you either had 65° or nothing else lol. also the homeless live in the parking garage that’s being remodeled, i included a picture of a part of the CHAIN LINK FENCE that had been messed up due to someone jumping the fence lol. we encountered a guy out front of the hotel doors who was clearly inebriated and stared us into our souls and watched us walk to our vehicle then disappeared. they have one girl who works valet and one girl who works the desk at those late creepy hours, with extremely questionable people around with no security. also the hotel in itself is extremely off putting and gave my husband and I the worst feeling. there’s random empty dark spaces under the stairs, random empty dark hallways/doors that lead to nothing. the whole atmosphere was awful. even the interactions with the hotel staff made the hairs on our necks stand up, something is definitely off about this place!

The room was in pretty bad shape, the parts of the carpet that weren’t failing apart were stained. It didn’t help that in addition to the cleanliness it just felt depressing. When we checked in the front desk stated there were no other rooms available, even though I could still book a room on the app. We chose to make the most of the night and leave, we booked the Holiday Inn express & suites Great Barrington Lenox Area it was so much better.

Hotel is clean with a nice location. Pool is nice and the restaurant in the hotel is super nice with affordable food and drinks. The parking garage is under renovation so you have to park about 1/2 miles away and walk uphill to the hotel...

Beautiful Hotel, Enjoyed the Pool. Location is perfect. The buffet breakfast is the same basic breakfast as all the other hotels. It should really be complimentary $12.99 without voucher $10 with. For the same oatmeal, scrambled eggs, french toast, waffles, bacon, link sausages, homemade cranberry walnut muffins (tree nut allergy beware) bagels, 2 variety of yogurts. Same juices, apple, cranberry and orange juice, black teas, green teas, chamomile, and an orange flavored tea. The bar/restaurant was nice and short staffed, though. I think I annoyed the bartender with my questions. His responses were short with that trying to be nice to you smile. It was off putting, I tipped the young lady, took my to go box, and went to my room. Complimentary Valet was nice. Got a chance to get in the pool. The 2nd time, I had to call the front desk for pool towels and ask for the heat to be turned on in the pool, which is open from 7am to 8 or 9pm. Which is great. However, by 9am, a heated pool should be heated before the pool opens, IMO. Pittsfield is a nice town.
