This is a relatively new Stop & Shop outlet that's bright, spacious, and sparkling clean inside. Prices and selection are the same as at most other Stop & Shops in the region, and when I stopped by most of the fresh items along the perimeter were well-stocked, whether produce, meats, seafood, dairy, or baked goods. As is the case with most Massachusetts supermarkets, there's a self-serve bottle redemption area - in this case at the rightmost entrance, far to the right. A solid go-to especially if you live nearby. Note: the insipidly contrived stock images currently dominating this Yelp listing have been uploaded by Stop & Shop Corporate and do not reflect this particular location - a violation of Yelp rules. What's the value-add of a picture of someone's bare, wrinkly hands and dirty fingernails picking something off the shelf? What if that person had just picked their nose with their hands only to put that product back onto the shelf? For extra comedic (or pathetic) effect, look at the tacky captions that Stop & Shop has included. Pro tip: keep your food and drink photos about the food and drink itself - without moist, unsanitary body parts contaminating things, and without distracting backgrounds.

So, in my post I mention how the 1-800 number rings and rings, your response is to tell me to call the same number I just complained about? It's good to know that your takeaway from my post was absolutely nothing. Keep up the good work.

I haven't gone into at this store for quite some time due to the staff attitudes. No one smiles or is helpful or polite. Unfortunately I had to stop in. Seriously I was hating going in because it's as if the place is filled with dread. My granddaughter and I were at the self check out and the register read "please remove item from scale/bagging area". Mind you we hadn't put anything down yet. So I was a little annoyed because something always goes wrong with self checkout. Then my granddaughter put her doll down and the employee said "it's because her dolls on the scale!" Excuse me? No need to be rude. No it's not, it was like that. Now mind you she looked annoyed because she was busy with another checkout register acting up and there was a 3rd acting up across from me. Instead of saying excuse me nicely to my 5 year old granddaughter she said very annoyed "EXCUSE ME, EXCUSE ME". Mind you it was so crowded my granddaughter really had no where to go. The employee couldn't get the register to work and as she walked away leaving me to figure what to do, it magically cleared and worked. As I left I heard her saying she can't wait for her vacation and she seemed very blunt about it. I understand people are overworked, but it's not what you say sometimes, it's how you say it. I'll never go back.

I have been shopping at this store for more than 10 years, and I was very happy with my experience prior to the remodel. I stuck it out through the dreadful experience of the remodel, assuming that it would be better once things settle down. Unfortunately, it is worse. Even though it is been relatively stable for weeks now, I spend at least twice as much time trying to find things as I did previously, and always leave not having found what should be reasonably common items. The store staff is friendly and tries to be helpful, but they seem as lost as the customers. I am about ready to find a new grocery store. Any store that thinks fruit juice and holiday cards go together, or decides that cheese is not dairy is clueless. I will miss the staff, but I leave every week frustrated and angry.

This store has got to be 150k sq ft, and there's no butcher shop... REALLY?! There are always tons of registers not manned, so the checkout lines are slow. Its just a bad operation. Parts of the store are fine. The produce isn't bad, the deli is okay. The meats are so limited though, service is weak, and it aint cheap. If you can go somewhere else, do so.

150k square feet, and no butcher shop. :/ At least a dozen registers up front, 2 open. :/ It is unfathomable that with that much space you can have such poor assortment. Worst Stop & Shop in the entire area.

This grocery store is nice from a visual standpoint. It is well lit and stocked, and is also well maintained. My disappointment is with the staff. Being new to the area, I have been trying different grocery stores to see which would be my go-to store. I was pleased with my experience here until time to check out. The cashier was doing something with the machine in front of her so I waited for a minute and then asked her if it was ok to put my items on the conveyer belt since she didn't really acknowledge me. She said that was fine so I unloaded my items and she started scanning. While waiting for her to finish, I noticed the sign referencing the customer rewards card. I asked her if I needed to go to the customer service counter to get one and she responded that it was a card for customers to get discounts. I acknowledged that and again asked if I needed to get one at customer service. She didn't respond. The bagger then said he would get me signed up. He then smirked at the cashier who then smirked back at him. At this point I felt like I was the butt of an immature teenager joke. And no, he did not sign me up. But it doesn't matter because I will probably not return. And this is unfortunate, because everything about my experience was good until time to checkout. Bad employees cost companies money...

This location is having some issues.. If I could give a negative rating I would. I have been doing curbside pick up here for a few months. I understand that Covid has placed everyone in a trying situation. Understatement I know. The employees who deliver to my car are phenomal. Polite. They aren't the issue. I keep letting things slide because I'm trying to be understanding. Wrong products altogether. I let it go. This time I can't. Expired products is where i draw the line. They gave me curry powder that was expired 6 months ago. My husband went in to to exchange the spice and bought coconut milk. Got home and the coconut milk is dried up. Both of them! I don't know what's going on in this store but this is unacceptable. We are trying to stay out of stores altogether now he has to go back again! I spoke to customer service and they said there's nothing they can really do. They need to be more diligent. We are blessed to have a car and go back. Some people don't have that luxury. If you are using their delivery service, curbside or shop there please check your items.

This store is old and needs to be remodeled.. The bathroom is old, smells very strongly of urine and has graffiti on the walls? How is this possible in this day and age. What manager would allow this? I'm a store full of food? Shame on you.

Worst butcher shop meat. Do not buy from here. Ruined multiple meals because of terrible quality meat.

First of all, there is no fish dept they have wrapped fish in a refrigerator and frozen fish in a freezer but no fresh fish and no lobsters. The store needs a makeover. It looks tired. The lighting is poor and the roof leaks when it rains. I'm not impressed.

I was looking forward to walking into one of the newer Stop&Shop locations I've seen being built. What a disappointment! This plaza, Plainville Commons, was built about 10 years ago with Target, Stop&Shop, and TJMaxx, as the main anchors. Most other nearby Stop&Shop locations have been around much longer, so I assumed this would have been one of the newer locations. So stopped by, when in the area, to do some food shopping before traveling home (and if they didn't have something I was looking for, or the store wasn't ideal, I was planning on leaving and going to my normal store, right on the way home). This store is completely annoying. The interior is old, and have not been remodeled like my favorite, local Stop&Shop on Rt 1A in Walpole, or any of the other nearby Stop&Shop stores. This location is also much smaller, and doesn't have the selection of seasonal, or bargain stuff like the other stores. The price scanners were all not working, and the pricing seemed to be a bit off on some of the items. Additionally, the store closes at 10pm everyday, instead of 11 like the others, and they seem to turn off half of the lights and close the bakery / deli / produce side completely by 9pm, as well as Self Checkout. Why? My store keeps everything open right up until 11, like they are supposed to! The employees on average are ok, with the exception of Kathy. Kathy is so friendly, helpful, kind, and made my experience to the store good (otherwise, this would be a 1 star review). No real perks about this store, and there is never a reason for me to return until its remodeled, the price scanner issues are fixed, and some changes in management are made (they REALLY need to use the Walpole store as a rolemodel). Too bad. I was hoping for a good experience, only to be disappointed with the exception of Kathy. 2 stars.

It makes me sad that this very nice place has 2.5 stars. An abundance of natural light makes this clean and spacious store quite pleasant to walk through. The local youth employed by the store had every reason to be lazy and absent-minded but was in fact earnest and helpful in assisting me locating my hummus.

Boring , plain, reliable , predictable and good sale prices. Once you understand the layout, I can be in and out in less than 10 minutes with my stuff.
