First and last time playing here the other day… Didn’t realize the price was $87 per person. The course is in rough shape divots everywhere, including the Tee boxes, they don’t even tell you that the greens were aerated.. Most places if the greens are aerated, they give you a heads up, so maybe you won’t Waste your money on your short game..Spent less to play at a top notch course in Myrtle Beach this year. Stay away unless you like getting ripped off!!!

This was, by far, my worst experience in nearly 25 years of playing golf. The course was awkward, and the condition was terrible. Greens were recently punched and they were almost unplayable. Giant, unfilled holes, thrown sand, and bumpy…hack job. Sand traps had rocks the size of a child’s foot, and the “cart GPS” didn’t work. The most frustrating thing was the pace of play. Over 3 hours to play 9 holes. Waited 5-7 minutes between every shot. Horrible. Stopped quick at the turn, because there was no bev cart, water stations, or restrooms anywhere to be found. Got to 10 tee, and had 5 groups on a short Par 4. I walked off. Didn’t even bother asking for a refund. I’m a single digit handicap, this course should have been quite easy to play, but pace of play ruined that. Half a dozen people working between the pro shop, starters and cart managers, and not one ranger on the course. I had a free voucher to play 18 holes. Cost me $27 for a cart. Should have thrown $27 out the door. Thank goodness I didn’t pay for this round. If this was the last course available to play golf, I’d quit and take up tennis. Discoursing, horrible, waste of time and money. My advice, play anywhere else.

I liked the ride in from RI, this is kinda located in the middle of nowhere, so it was a nice country side drive in. The club house was nice, the golf carts were cool, they all had like iPads mounted to them that showed the course, score card, food menu, and more. But I guess that what that place was expensive as it was to play. It was our first time here and the tough was tougher than I anticipated it would be. A lot of holes seemed very narrow, there were a lot of hazards, but the overall play was fun. The greens were tough and in rough shape, not sure if they aerated them recently, but putting was rough even from short distances. I’d definitely come back. It was worth the ride.

Golf here every week, course is always in good shape. Course is tight, so stay in the fairways or be prepared to lose some balls

$87 for a round. the cart was 27 a person. Course was averaged at best. No amenities, no water stations, no drink carts. One green was totally destroyed. Tee boxes bare. basically just ripping people off.

Solid course, mixed layout and usually in decent shape. Couple silly holes that don’t make sense but fair otherwise. Very overpriced though.
Edit: updated to 1 star after playing multiple championship level courses for the same price as Wentworth, which is far from that.

Wentworth keeps increasing price year over year with nothing to show for it. $95 for terrible condition greens with no reduced price is unacceptable. Heather Hills is prob in better condition at this point. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Love this course. I'm a relatively new golfer so I probably could have started at an easier course but becaus the staff is great (very helpful and friendly) and they take great care of the grounds/facilities (greens are coming in nicely) I really enjoy playing here. You will have a great day if you choose Wentworth.

Course was a bit wet to be charging $95 with cart and cart path only this time if year...it was in decent shape and greens were ok... However other better priced courses are available in the area that are in better shape and can charge $95 with cart

Wow. What a serious decline in the conditions at this course! I’ve been playing here for over 15years and used to have my sons take lessons here. Great layout but I played yesterday and couldn’t believe the poor conditions. Some of the greens were unplayable like the second hole that was torn up,aerated and full of sand. Each tee box was just about down to dirt. Every single green looks destroyed. 2 years ago this course was at its peak, best conditions I had seen there. It’s not as bad as its sister course Heather hills yet, which may be the second worst conditioned course in the state next to lakeville country club which has weeds growing in the greens and sand traps but Heather hills doesn’t charge $85 and no walking til 3 pm on weekends either. The fairways were in ok shape for the most part yesterday
