I am a Property Manager and shop at the Plymouth Home Depot almost daily. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful. Alex in returns has especially been helpful. He's knowledgeable, thorough and professional.

I purchased a Ryobi backpack leaf blower in February 2022 and I've had nothing but issues with it and now Home Depot has become unresponsive to my requests to get this repaired under warranty after telling me it was covered. It's been in for repair 2x and on both occasions nobody has bothered to keep me informed of the status. I've continuously had to visit the store only to be turned away without the blower time and time again. Most recently, they have had the blower since November of 2022, and what is worse is that now they can't seem to find it or give me an update. I was promised an answer from Isaac (rentals) and Ted (mgr) by 5/16/23. When I did not hear, I called. A nice woman took my call, explained that both had left for the day, but she sent messages to both along with the manager on duty to get back to me. Again, no answer. I'm out $243.31 now. I got to use the blower for approximately 4-5 hours total. It has been in their possession longer than mine at this point and on top of the $243 I had to pay an additional $30 for them to look at the blower. I am well beyond disappointed at this point and this is not my first negative experience with HD.

I'm a 100%disabled veteran they give me a discount every time I go in there to buy something instead of just Memorial Day ,Veterans Day ,and my birthday! sometimes the manager has to get involved ,years ago I just flagged my license that literally says veterans on it now but now they want to see my va disability veterans I'd. I'm not a big using the veterans card kind of guy for discounts but when I spend a few grand a summer it shouldn't have to be so hard to get a discount, when I tell them. I go to Lowe's they honor it every day at a few more percent to boot. Now with that being said everything else about Home Depot drive location is usually pretty good generally.

Whatever you do, don't go to the tool rental at this location. They'll give you instructions on how to operate and or clean the equipment. But the problem is the photos and the instructions don't match the equipment. So probably with you rent like a paint sprayer and return it.,It's not going to be thoroughly clean. Easy $100 fee for the Home Depot at this point.

My daughter ordered new flooring many weeks ago. There were delays but no one could tell her why. Finally when she called again last week someone said to her the flooring was not paid for. She said she had paid for it and after checking the employee said that she was right but someone HAD FORGOTTEN to push the paid button. The floor material. was delivered today but they would not bring it into the house. they said someone would come later in the day and move the flooring into the house. Then they called back and said they would not come until tomorrow. It is supposed to start raining early tomorrow morning. When she told them that they said if the flooring was ruined she would get a refund. She needs the flooring now. I cannot even believe this horrible service.

Home Depot in Wareham, Ma. Has a great asset not only for the store but for the customers with Dave in the lumber section and Alicia ( I believe her name) at the pro shop cashier. Same materials as other locations, what a difference with professional friendly assistance makes.

I placed a curbside pick up order on the Home Depot website, which stated that the order would be ready for pickup within two hours and I would receive an email notification. 4 hours later, I had gotten no email, so I drove to the store as I was unable to reach them by phone. After standing in line for about 15 minutes, I explained the issue and was told that the curbside orders were backed up THREE DAYS. There were literally 680 orders before mine. I suggested to the very nice salesperson that they should update their website, but was told that it was beyond what even their store manager could do, and the corporate offices would have to make that decision. It was suggested that this wasn't happening because (as is probably likely), customers would see the wait time, and go elsewhere for to make a purchase. The salesman was accommodating and I was able to find the item myself in the store and he sent me a receipt (as I had already paid for the item online). Corporate HQ needs to respect their customers' time and be upfront about ordering. The salesman I spoke to was very nice but they were understaffed and the online purchase terms were misleading. Do better.

I was interested in purchasing sliding patio doors. The salesman couldn't be bothered to stand up and walk over to the sliders I was interested in. Very lazy and a poor communicator. I'll go to Goodrich lumber in Kingston and speak to an knowledgeable and engaged salesperson

Home Depot used to be a legitimate competitor with Lowe's and many of the other home improvement stores. They're changing their policies to make it harder for customers to return purchases and for Veterans to obtain their earned discount. In as far as returns, as is true with most of the other big box stores, if you don't have your receipt they can run your credit card for you to see if you purchased the item that way....but, with Home Depot, if you paid cash and don't have your receipt, their policies have changed, i.e., they will no longer give you a store credit and under no circumstances can you return the item. As for their Veterans discount policies, they will no longer manually put in your Veterans discount simply by showing them your VA card, Military ID, or driver's license. You MUST open an account with Home Depot and register as a Veteran on their website. THEN, the only way to utilize your discount is to have your phone with you during the checkout and to log on to their website so you can scan a code. If the Veteran is having difficulty logging on, or doesn't have their phone with them, staff are informed that they are NOT to enter the Veteran's discount, even as a courtesy. Why shop at Home Depot when Lowe's, Ace Hardware, etc. don't put you through that sort of BS ? .

Don't bother trying to get in Touch with the pro desk or any department for that matter by going on their posted times. Call anytime and someone is always not available to help you. I was told the pro desk went home at 5pm on a Thursday and it was 430pm at that point.... Amazing how they live in the future somehow and the present at the same time. Called them out on that and all of a sudden they said oh well they want to leave at 5 and are cleaning up now. Are you kidding me? Take your business elsewhere or you will never get supplies delivered when you need them.

My worse nightmare happened yesterday when I returned home only to discover that I did not have my pocketbook with me. I had left it in the carriage at Plymouth's Home Depot parking lot. I immediately telephoned the store and waited patiently while the staff looked for my pocketbook. I was so relieved when I was told they had found it. The service desk staff could not have been nicer and kinder to me. I am so very thankful to you!

There was no one in sight to help me find or move a lawn mower. Figured curbside pickup would be easier. Got both the e-mail and text it's ready, went in the next day waited and waited. Took the employees calling me twice once to promise its on the way, then to say its actually not ready because the product is on some truck (even though they had 8 in stock). They'd call me when its off. 6 hours later, no call, I call them and they have to re-track it down, still on some truck that now won't be unloaded until overnight but they'd call me when its off. 10:30 the next day, still no call. Don't bother with this store, especially order for pickup. Apparently they'll just mark it ready without even looking for the product first, it won't be ready, they might not even have it, don't waste your time go to Lowes.
