WHAT!?!? We went to this nursery yesterday in search of a specific species of tree. The stock is SO low it's not worth the trip here anymore. What's more when asked what was happening to the inventory we were almost scolded for the query...to quote: "I'm doing the jobs of 11 people, I can only do so much, I'm taking care of 11 acres of plants and trees so you get what you get!!" Yup, with that customer service, you'll get what you get.

My dad bought a tree from this guy for 1600. He came oit and planted it 2 weeks later it wadnt looking good my dad went there right away and told him he said he would come by and he didnt. My dad lives 2 minutes up the road. Then he went there again so the guy came and said it was jyst settling its fine just keep the dead pine needles away. We all new it wasnt. A couple months later it died my dad has been back there a bunch of times to get another tree to repkace this one the guy is rude and trying to make up excuses. I guess my dad has to take him to court its to bad the guy cant replace it when he planted it and it was sick within 2 weeks. Never do business with someone who wont take care of his customers

If you are interested in landscaping and love trees, this is the best and only place to visit in Plymouth. John the owner knows so much about trees and has contagious enthusiasm. I've found trees here than I would never find in a "cheaper" nursery, where plants aren't well cared for.

We visited Katsura last night and John was most knowledgeable and helpful. My wife and I had a wonderful time talking with him and seeing the amazing and distinctive trees. Not the run of the mill stuff at the big box stores or local nurseries. We bought three trees and are considering several more.

Was in the area and decided to see what they had for shrubs. Didn't see anyone at first so we drove around the side only to be met by the most miserable man who yelled at us never to drive back there again. Apparently I didn't see the tiny sign. Goodbye. I will never be back.

This is a choice nursery with some of the most exciting plants you can find in one place in this region. John and Steve know their stock and offer sane advice and truthful opinions. All serious gardeners need to visit Katsura and those who aren't serious about plants yet may find this to be the start of a rewarding gardening life.

This place is amazing!! I have never seen such a great selection of unique trees, shrubs & conifers. The place is simply amazing. I've been to many nurseries, I live in the north shore, seen a lot of nurseries in NH & a lot in between me & Katsura & have seen nothing like it. If you are looking for Japanese Maples (never seen so many species in one place) or unique conifers (& I heard a rumor that they might be even more unique next year), this is the place to go!! Don't waste your time anywhere else. I don't really buy flowers too often, but I've seen an amazing selection. John, the owner, is an unbelievably nice gentlemen who was excited to show us around, even some plants out back we wouldn't have known about. Huge Katsura Japanese Maple...coincidence? Steve, is great! you can usually find him watering the plants, organizing things & just getting things done. Always friendly & eager to help. Both are EXTREMELY knowledgable & experienced. Not like other garden center where you ask a question & they look at the tag to give you an answer. I haven't stumped them yet. I'm always amazed at how much they know & how quickly they know the answers. They have been there for 15 years I think. I just found them & even though it is an hour away just one way for me, this is my go to nursery. Simply amazing!
