Pilgrim Hall Museum, founded in 1824, is one of the oldest public museums in the United States. It features three galleries with rare artifacts related to the Mayflower Pilgrims, Native Wampanoag materials, and the history of Plymouth Colony. The museum offers a rich look at America's beginnings, emphasizing historical accuracy and inclusion of stories that have often been overlooked. Visitors can explore interesting artifacts, informative posters, and videos that showcase the pilgrimage and Native American history. Although the museum is not large, it provides a meaningful experience, and staff are friendly and helpful. Some exhibits may be temporarily closed for renovations, but the museum still offers a lot to see and learn. It is a great place for those interested in history, especially the first settlers, and can be enjoyed in about an hour or two. Special events, like anniversary celebrations with scavenger hunts, make visits even more fun.
Great experience at the museum. Staff was very knowledgeable. Not a huge museum but very informative and I really suggest going there before exploring the rest of the town so you have a better understanding of what happened.

Really neat to see all the artifacts. Very fair and respectful to everyone involved. I felt $15/adult was a little steep for the size, but I'm also glad this stuff is being preserved.

It was amazing to see things that came over on the Mayflower or belonged to the pilgrims!
