“Beautiful gallery with some really unique pieces across a spectrum of subjects, visuals and locations. I've found some of my favorite artists at Rice Polak and the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful with no pressure to buy as they have a true and deep appreciation for the art and want all to enjoy it. One of the best galleries in Ptown and worth a visit.”

“If I could rate James more than 5 stars, I would! I ordered the P town ornament a couple of days before Christmas, and James was so kind to mail it out quickly. It actually arrived BEFORE Christmas, but he sent a thoughtful email to let me know the shipping status and that it may not. Not only was his timeliness so appreciative, but the ornament itself is stunning & beautiful, and everything I love about P town at Christmas with the lights on the monument. I will definitely be ordering from James again! Thank you!!!”

“Room 68 features beautiful modern art and home goods. The buyer here has great taste. They stock unique books I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s fun to see what’s new when I am in town. And it’s great to be exposed to new artists. The art may be expensive, though that’s subjective. But whateverinvest in from this shop is sure to liven up your space and bring you smiles for many years. Great job with the store!”

“PAAM is a gem and should not be missed. They have interesting exhibitions, including regular shows of work by members, many of whom are very accomplished artists, and an educational program with first-rate teachers. When touring Provincetown galleries, don't stop at the "Gallery District," but keep going up to PAAM. You will be rewarded.”

“Several years ago, when on holiday on Cape Cod, we purchased from the Bowersock Gallery in Provincetown, a painting by the artist Alan Ammann. The successful purchase and delivery (to our home in the UK) led us to repeat this process in September last year when we bought, from Bowersock, a large, model ship, constructed in clay that was, consequently, divided into four separate packages to distribute the weight for transportation.Unfortunately, two of the packages failed to pass through British customs and were eventually returned to the United States; one, subsequently, declared to be beyond economic repair (possibly caused during storage in the customs depot). Since that time we have maintained a constant liaison with the Bowersock Gallery, initially to try to recover or recreate the model ship, but eventually, to secure a full refund. From Steve Bowersock’s unfailing patience, professionalism and personal effort, we have now received full financial recompense for this unfortunate loss.We have made definite plans to return to Cape Cod in September and will revisit Steve Bowersock not only to thank him and his team personally for their splendid aftersales service but also to try to buy, with confidence, another unique artwork from the Bowersock stable (in our view, some of the best artworks, at realistic prices, on Cape Cod).In consequence of the technical difficulties created by the international element of our endeavours to secure a refund, another gallery might not have given us the empathy and support that we received from Steve Bowersock. From our experience, we acknowledge Steve Bowersock to be not just a skilled dealer in modern artworks but, perhaps more importantly, a gentleman. Thanks, Steve and your team.”

“The Schoolhouse Gallery is THE gallery to visit when you're in Provincetown. I recommend coming in to say hi to Mike. When I dropped by in August they were showcasing work by the artist Francis Olschafskie. We got a chance to meet with the artist and admire his work. You will also learn a lot about the artists and the inspiration behind each piece if you ask. I always enjoy coming to the Schoolhouse Gallery because there's always something new and exciting to see.”

“The Four Eleven Gallery is truly what the Provincetown art scene should be about. The Gallery has a contemporary edge, while maintaining the feel of old time P-Town. I visited this gem for the first time. The Gallery director was so inviting, but maintained his distance for a very pleasurable viewing experience.”

“Wonderful gallery. One of the best in Provincetown. Beautiful pieces, and Gary is lovely to work with. It took a few weeks to print, frame and ship but was so worth it. Happy I stumbled in here!”

“Purchased a painting many many years ago from WSG, it was an overall pleasant and enjoyable experience through the whole process, from the selection of a Provincetown artist, to purchase, to safely packing the artwork for travel, to all the way to today, where they send me in the mail up coming gallery shows of the artist they are showing for the season. Now online with their website I can also enjoy the art available in the gallery! Look forward someday taking a trip again to P-town to shop for artwork!”

“It’s a very small and intimate venue. I love the experience of watching a movie here because you can get yourself some wine and gummy bears and cuddle up in a chair and get lost in a movie. Feels like a great oasis when you need to get away from the hectic Provincetown summer.”
