Very nice people (although I couldn’t understand the language they were speaking) but I bought chocolate covered strawberries - not cheap - and they were beyond stale. Obviously no one keeps an eye on anything here - especially the freshness of the products. Yuck. Would never go back here again.

Warning: Literally the worst saltwater taffy I've ever had. Weird texture (like its melted), and bad tastes. I love saltwater taffy and have had it from all over the country and northeast, and this is next to inedible it's so bad. I got one of every flavor and two of a few that I had to throw away. I spit basically everyone out except the peppermint. There is tons of other candy here that I'm sure is good, and the cost of the taffy was reasonable. The store and staff are nice, the saltwater taffy is just inedible. Take it as you will I guess! But fair warning about the taffy. Super weird.

I'm sad to write this review, but I have to. I was in the store yesterday and bought a small bag of taffy to bring home to a friend who always loved Cabot's taffy. I tried one piece walking down the street, and I had to spit it out! It's nothing like the taffy used to be. It was so sticky once I chewed it, I was afraid it wouldn't come out of my mouth! Seriously: They have to be scraping pennies to make an inferior product. The ingredients have changed. Here's the sad part: I knew the Ciceros. I knew Judy's parents, George + Lillian. They would be horrified to see what's become of their product and their shop! The bag says "Sweet tradition since 1927"... Not "THEIR" tradition. I don't know where the current owners were in 1927, but they were nowhere near a taffy machine. I never ever would have said this back in the 70s, but: if you're in Provincetown and want some mouthwatering taffy, go somewhere else, but do NOT go to Cabot's! Truly sad about this.

A bit disappointed in the fudge. Purchased a pound of pistachio, heathbar, chocolate walnut and penuche. The pistachio was tasteless. Think they forgot the flavoring. All The fudges were almost too gummy in texture. Not creamy like they used to be.

Been going here every year in the summer! Absolutely love the taffy and almost always end up buying a box to take back home.

Been going to Cabot's for decades, every time we visit P-Town. July 2023 was first time since Covid. This rating concerns their fudge. Something is very wrong and it can not be explained by a bad batch as we purchased 1 pound in 3 different flavors. Every flavor now has a terrible aftertaste. 4 people sampled our box and agreement was universal. Not so much a chemical taste but very unpleasant. My guess is somewhat rancid. I'm going to take a guess here, based on recent reviews of their taffy, and say they are using margarine or oil instead of butter. If it wasn't 2 hours away I'd have gone back and asked for a refund as at $19 a pound it is not cheap.

Super disappointed by the texture of their taffy. Never had this issue with their taffy before. It was all super soft and completely stuck to the wax paper and got all over our fingers. Kinda yucky... And no, it didn't sit in a hot car all day. It was the last thing bought before our trip home in a very air-conditioned car.

As a big candy and salt water taffy fan, this place had EVERYTHING. You were able to buy pre packaged candy or stuff your own bag. The salt water taffy selection was major. Well over 20-30 flavor and a lot of each while at it. Being on the main strip, I imagined it to be pricy but it was VERY reasonable. The staff was super friendly and inviting. The store itself was massive and had a huge selection. HIGHLY recommend.

Cabot's saltwater taffy is dangerously delicious. While I'm not a fan of all of its flavors, its taffy is fresh and chewy. Unlike another well-known brand of saltwater taffy I used to buy, it isn't hard as a rock and I'm not afraid of breaking a tooth uf I eat it.My favorite flavor is chocolate. Maple is really good, too. Vanilla is just OK. Next time I'll skip the peppermint. It tastes medicinal.Pricing is reasonable, and the different options for quantity and flavors are good. I've also had a good experience with Cabot's customer service. In sum, I'm a fan of Cabot's saltwater taffy.

This is absolutely the worst salt water taffy. It tastes like 80s makeup, very waxy zero flavor. All the flavors in the bucket I got taste like Wax an odd chemicals.I end up pitching the whole bucket of Taffy it's that bad.

I adore this place.During the summer, I took a couple of classes at Harvard. Every Tuesday and Thursday before my 3:00pm class, I would come here and buy a bag full of warheads, tootsie rolls and caramel candies for less than $3. The staff is super nice and the candy is great! I’m really gonna miss this place :)

Ordered taffy online, and received it in record time. However, the texture is an issue -- high fructose corn syrup leaves an unpleasant film in the mouth, and this is what all of these taffy selections did, so was sad to just have to give these away to someone who doesn't mind that side effect. The flavors were top notch, but the texture: um, nope.

Friendly atmosphere and extensive selection of saltwater taffy made in-house. Some flavors are definitely better than others but that's half the fun of taffy anyway.

Purchased the Molasses salt water taffy and the rum butter taffy for my mother. Both were lacking in flavor and left a waxy feel in the mouth. Very sweet with no salty taste whatsoever.. very disappointing. Would not purchase again.
