There are a few hardware stores in the Provincetown area, but I think this is the largest. It is also located right on Commercial St, so it's easy to stop in before or after a meal or a shopping trip. Their private parking lot is large and convenient as well. Inside, you would fin anything you will find at any other ACE Hardware store, patio furniture, paint supplies, grills, screws, hammers, filters, etc. The guys I deal with while shopping were nice and knowledgeable.

I was walking in around 8:30 this morning, a young woman and her young daughter, were just leaving. I heard her saying to the staff, or maybe it was to her daughter, that they would come back later and get some Gatorade. As soon as I got inside I overheard an employee say, “If you’re not from here, you don’t belong here.” Upon hearing that I did an about face and left. Not sure who that was directed towards, but it doesn’t matter. Sorry to hear him say that. Won’t ever step foot in this place again. Talk about making a customer feel unwelcome!

This store intentionally overcharges for their items, and when you show them the price on the tag they yell at you. This happened to me last September (2022) and again today (March 21, 2023). I was overcharged 7 dollars for this sunvisor. I showed the cashier the price, and he acted like he didn't know what I was referring to. He tried to intimidate me by saying "cant you speak"? I showed him the price and he yelled and accused me of shoving the hat in his face, which didn't happen. Then I did speak up. This is their way of doing business. I was also overcharged for a hamper in September, 2021, by about 8 dollars (and the cashier wouldn't change the price). I won't be back, and I'm sorry it took me 3 timed to figure them out. The receipt shows the overcharged amount of 19.99$, and the sunvisor has a tag on it for 12.99$. You can buy these elsewhere in Provincetown for 12.99$ just up the street at Shirts and Stuff. I would have bought it there but they were closed, and I'm only here for a few days this time.

This is the cutest hardware store! The staff are quick witted and helpful. This store is split over 2 levels. The downstairs containing everything you can imagine in the way of basic hardware. You can purchase in bulk or by the per. They also have Arts and crafts fun stuff, paints, tons of tape and adhesive, plus the myriad puttys, goos, to fix/fill all the unexpected holes you make in your 'quick home repair.' Above all, the customer service is great. They all seem to genuinely enjoy themselves. It's definitely worth a walk through the fishing section, if nothing else.

Paying with cash? Expect a bad attitude and incorrect change. Shameful

Land's End Marine Hardware WAS one of the premier stores in Ptown, but definitely not now. There have been several unfavorable incidents in the past. Here are two. The male individual mockingly acted as if he could not understand our repeated question about where an item was located within the store. We left and went to Conwell Hardware instead. In another incident, a Land's End employee loudly and gleefully imparted salacious political rumors and conspiracy theories at checkout. This was the last straw.I live in Provincetown b/c it is a welcoming community to all. However, it is clear that Land's End Marine no longer meets even the most basic standards of decency.Shame on you, Land's End Marine Hardware! Your failure to properly train your employees - on how to conduct themselves in the presence of customers is astounding and unacceptable. You are giving Ptown a reputation it does not deserve.

Very useful to have a hardware store in town. They have a big selection, so not always easy to find what you want. But the staff is super friendly and will help out with a smile

The Walmart of Ptown. I own an inn down the block from this place and I can get almost anything I need from screws and plungers to fishing supplies and custom paint. It's like a Super Walmart but with better customer service!

A life saver when you need fishing tackle, super glue, a phone charger, and ice cream.

Nice new look inside. Staff seems very friendly and helpful. I hope they carry more marine related items ie mooring supplies such as American made shackles and 3 strand nylon line ( spools).

When we got to our hotel in Ptown, I realized I left my phone charger on my dresser back home. I set myself to charge my phone in hubs' car 'every night'- but that thought wasn't gonna fly. Especially when I use a lot of battery life for online shopping, reading The Times, Pinterest, previewing YouTube strength training videos and of course Yelp. I could've charged my phone if my hotel room had a wireless charging station- but they don't. I could've asked for a loaner charger at my hotel (if they even had one)- but I didn't. We could've gone to the nearest CVS a short drive way- but did not. This Land's End Marine Supply (part of the True Value family) on Commercial St, however, came to the rescue the following morning we got in town. As in their 'Marine Supply' name, there are lots of fishing poles and other maritime items for sale. But if you're in dire need for anything else, this hardware store in Ptown, will save you in the quickness with the best prices and helpful service!
