This is a great grocery store for Provincetown. We almost always get what we need and we find the staff to be helpful and friendly

Highly recommend. The staff is great and very helpful. Never a bad experience. Had a problem getting a prescription refilled because the physician's office was slacking and the tech went above and beyond help. Not only did they call the office numerous times to get the script but when my husband ran out of his meds bc of the delay the pharmacy provided enough blood pressure medication so that my husband never had to go without.

Hey can you ask the store in Provincetown Mass to turn off that loud refrigerator truck? We are next door neighbors and would appreciate it. It’s really loud and not to town code. I would hate to have to call the town officials again on stop and shop

This morning my partner went at 6am to shop at the Stop&Shop in Provincetown. When she went to the check out, an employee met her and told her that she would load the groceries onto the checkout belt and that she could just stand behind the cart and wait. So she did, when tit was time to pay, my partner took out her credit card and the cashier said,” Your credit card isn’t any good today. An anonymous donor is paying for your groceries today.” My partner was dumbfounded and asked how could she thank the donor. The employee said to go to the Stop&Shop Facebook page and thank him/her there. So that is what we are doing. Thank you for such a generous gift especially at this time of such uncertainty. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and know that we will pay it forward.

Prices are WAY up since the quarantine started - I expected some of that, but not to this extent.

I bought their nature's promise package of chicken which they charge more for because there is no added ingredients. A lot of times that I have purchased this it has extra fat wrapped in their pieces of chicken that is not even attached to the breast to add weight to charge more. Photos will follow but they are still shots from the video I shot when I opened the package. I have been videoing opening their packages after the third time it happened to me. If you buy this and find that they have done this return the package. Do not let them get away with it anymore. It may be little money but it's wrong and it adds up for them if people do not complain.

In general, it isn't the worst Stop and Shop I've ever been in, but certainly not the best. During the summer, it is super crowded, with every parking space taken at certain prime times. Everything is more expensive than at the other SnSs on Cape, but it is in the center of a super crowded tourist area, so I guess to be expected. In the summer, the also clear their shelves of most of the cheaper Store Brand products and stock them more expensive brand name products - it probably has something to do with something, but I don't know the reason. In the shoulder seasons, when they are switching back to their winter products, the shelves are half bare and missing a lot of items, so it can be frustrating. The meat department is very problematic - on numerous occasions I have gotten meat, brought it home, opened it up, and it is very obviously gone bad. It isn't a problem to get your money back, but you still have to return to the store to do it - sometimes they give you back double for rotten meat, sometimes they don't - I don't understand the which/why/when, but it is what it is. The produce and fish departments are both kind of sad too. If you aren't planning to use anything from either right away, skip it, because it will be rotten within the next day or two it will be rotten. This does not not happen with meat, fish or produce from other stores.

Great local one and only food store that has almost everything. Prices are high. Organic and vegan foods aren't organized. Nice staff willing to help. It's the local meet everyone you know place.

Full grocery store on the point. Very convenient, quality product, average pricing- surprisingly not over priced...like that! Cinnamon woppie pies were very good! Other take and hi items handy when on vacay!
