Store employee stated I have to come back the next day to replace my battery as I stated it’s an emergency because my car went completely dead 30 minutes ago thanks to state police’s rescue. Due to the urgent need so I ask for the tool to installed myself, while I was installing my own battery, this employee finally decided to have the time to help other customer to check on their car and completely ignore my presence. This happened on 12/21/2023 around 4 pm. It’s a false advertisement “free battery installation” I hope this will not happen again to other customer. I have gone to this quincy store for many years and this is the worst experience I have ever had.

Drive the extra .5 miles down the road to AutoZone if your coming north. AutoZone is a better organized organization. I think I would know. I was a brief employee of AAP.

This auto parts store was my favorite go to store. They have changed to a touchy Feely store for the Average parts shopper, help is lost on auto repairs. Try Bob's Speed shop if you really want people who know what they are doing. Across from Home Depo on Willard Street Quincy.

I had to pick up a package there because a tenant keeps stealing my packages and he blocked ups from delivering my package. They were friendly and let me wait for my ride. I had no money for a second Uber. Thank You Advanced Auto Parts

I showed up this evening to get new windshield wipers, as I realized how badly I needed them in this awful weather. The worker (I wish I got his name) not only directed me on which ones to get, but also changed them for me in the cold, pouring rain. I had to drive about 2 hours afterwards so I'm so so grateful that he went above and beyond (and got soaking wet) to make sure I was set up for safety. Will absolutely be going back for any further needs.

First time shopper, usually shop online but wanted to find an establishment that was local to me for quick pick ups. Went to grab front and rear wipers for my 2015 Ford Focus around 8am 5/5. Was recommended a set from the associate at the counter.I went back on 5/6 around 6pm and was met by the same associate when I went to return the blades. Was not really concerned that the wrong blades were sold to me, just wanted to swap them for the appropriate ones. The same associate asked for my receipt which I lost and then he asked if I had a phone number, which he did not offer to make an account with on 5/5. I would have been happy to spend more money on the right parts, but there was nothing they could do to help me. So I was out $50.00 and the parts I needed, which were recommended by the associate. So even though he admitted to recognizing me and admitted he did not make an account, I was SOL. I was never told about this policy, just a lazy employee ruining it for everyone else.I easily spend $2000 on car supplies a year. Its unfortunate to have an interaction with a company which operates on customer service tactics from 30 years ago.Amazon it is.
