What a great local experience. Everything from fresh pasta, cold cuts, bread, olives etc.. I just got educated to their frozen prepackaged meals, amazing quality. Try their cookies.

I bought the frozen chicken parm at Shaw's and was very disappointed. I took 4 bites and just couldn't stand to put myself through anymore of that. My dog enjoyed it though.

I could go on for days about how much I love the store. However, I am simply going to say if you’re Italian, you will love this store. If you’re not Italian, go there and become Italian through the experience.

As a Quincy native, I've long been familiar with the Alfredo Aiello name but didn't realize how much it'd grown over the last few decades. They once focused on making pasta for restaurants and supermarkets, but have now expanded to three retail stores in Quincy, Norwell, and Canton. This Quincy shop is a newer building that replaces the small retail area at their original factory. Inside, it's bright, sparkling clean, and inviting, with shelves full of Italian products, fridges full of entrée- and family-sized servings of pasta and desserts, and a full-service deli with meats, cheeses, prepared foods, and sandwiches. A "small" chicken parm sub, for example, was quite heftily sized for one person. There was enough chicken that was melt-in-your-mouth chewy on the inside while also being subtly breaded and crispy on the outside, plus the sauce and cheese that went along it made it a nicely goopy treat. Exactly the complement to increasingly chilly fall weather.Service at the deli was super explanatory and engaging, and even though I didn't look like their typical clientele, I was able to engage the other staff with local anecdotes and questions. So it's clear that they have a steady, loyal, local following - which is reassuring in terms of authenticity given Quincy's large population of Italian descent. Here's to Alfredo Aiello's continued success!

Super disappointed....... frozen ziti and meatballs...The meatballs were mushy and had an aftertaste and the ziti was as hard as a rock....seemedlike they threw it in the dish uncooked.......not for me !!!!!

Bought the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese at stop and shop, there were bones in it and the pasta was so overcooked. So much cheese sauce it was like soup. Not worth $8.99

I don't know if there are other places with the same name, but the one I love sells prepared and frozen Italian food. Their chicken parmigiana is amazing! All white meat, and lots of it, and a lovely marinara sauce with cheese, but not too much. Actually, too much cheese would prevent the great flavor of the meat and sauce from coming through!
