I can go on and on about this gym and why you should sign up (to Quincy specifically) I have NOTHING absolutely nothing negative to say about this establishment overall because each location brings their own great traits, but Quincy has been beyond good to me and changed me for the better and it could be the same experience for you as long as you commit and put in the work. You're not on the journey alone either you get motivation/meal plans/workouts & tips from trainers that actually care like Spencer, Wei, Jackie, Linton, Nick and even some of the members whom have an absolute heart of gold I couldn't imagine going to another gym I probably wouldn't be where I am today. If you don't know where start like myself at one point the 6 week program will blow your mind and you won't regret it. They even have member appreciation week, little challenges and so much more. They really make it fun and you'll want to come in day after day and I feel like this review is the only way I can actually show my appreciation on how grateful I am for my new fitness lifestyle to my yes I said it MY trainers !!!!! -Loyal AF member Lashonda ?

The small group training sessions are awesome. Spencer is a great manager and coach. He is really motivating. I recently changed to going after work. Now Wei is the coach of most of my sessions. He is very good at modifying exercises to accommodate your body's needs while still focusing on the same muscles of the original exercise.

The staff genuinely wants to help people achieve their fitness goals and there's a great community there. The free consultation also gives you a sense of where you're at when starting, and advice on how you should continue. The coaches, particularly Nick and Wei, have helped me tremendously with my form and gave me tips on improving my diet. As someone who is starting their fitness seriously, I'd recommend this place. The place does get a bit crowded during peak hours around 6pm (not sure about mornings), but wait times are usually short since people are generally aware of sharing equipment and I have no problem with it.

I was a member here for 3 years. It was a place of solace during the pandemic to escape the nonsense of covid lockdowns. However, they ruled with an iron fist with dumb mask rules while working out. Even if you came at 2am when no one was there. Oh don’t worry, the cameras were watching and all of the members would snitch on you for not wearing a mask with 3 people in the gym. Overall a terrible gym run by useful idiots.

I can’t recommend this anytime fitness location to anyone for membership . no space , too crowded and to make matters worse I was harassed here by the rude manager/owner. I'm working on a lawsuit tho. I'm also wondering how other staffs are working in this hostile environment.

Overall, anytime fitness gives that gives you pretty much everything you need in a gym and its very convenient as it is 24/7.The issues come when you go during peak hours and when you are signing up.When you are signing up, the particular person who signed me up pretty much tried to rush through the process. A WORD OF ADVICE WHEN SIGNING UP - READ EVERYTHING, including the fine print, because they will try to rush the process, but you as a customer should know everything before signing. Additionally, the individual first told me there was no enrollment fee for doing a one-year program (note that this was at the time I was signing up and may not reflect how things are now), but as soon as they gave me the form they quickly tried to add in an enrollment fee… EVEN THOUGH they literally told me 10 seconds ago there was no enrollment fee for me. So luckily I caught them and told them to change it. However, I as a consumer shouldn’t have to feel like I have to be cautious about everything. I should be able to trust the staff.During peak hours the gym can get quite crowded which is understandable since it is a small place. However, I feel like the gym doesn’t fully utilize the space that they have. For example, there's a large storage room in the back that looks fine to use and the only thing that is probably needed is a little renovation. Some staff have allowed me to use part of the purple space near the back during class time as long as didn’t interrupt the class. While, one of the staff was rude and just told me to use a corner which was right on the pathway where everyone walks through. In summary, I understand the gym is small but there needs to be better space management to accommodate for as many people as possible, especially during peak hours. Some of the staff are very nice and accommodating, others are a bit different which is fine. I don’t really care if the staff knows my name and I don't expect them to, because at the end of the day I'm just there to get my workout in. But if you involve me in another person's conversation, at least have some respect and learn my name instead of referring to me as "this other guy that I don’t know."I think it’s a bit unfortunate because there are some staff that are very friendly, but some of the interactions I had left a sour taste. I hope that these things can be improved upon.

I love this gym for it's location, ease of use, and the fact that it's (for the most part) not overly busy. I do wish I had more motivation to go! But in reality - the only couple of things I wish were different would be having full length mirrors in the bathrooms (for those selfies and post-workout pump photos), and honestly I wish they would buy out the space next door and expand! I'd love to have just a little more room especially since the time I'm usually able to go is during the classes, so the mat area is basically fully in use. Otherwise, love you guys!

I have been a member of a couple gyms and this one is pretty bad. No room for the amount of people that come in. Not enough equipment. Place is packed with people using 2 sets of equipment pretty much everyday all the time. Don't recommend.

Great place to work out. The staff is friendly and build a community. I love being able to go the gym any time I want. There's been many times where I wanted to go and ended up not going because the gym is closed at 7PM or even 6PM. Not here. You also can get free scans for fitness that help you get back on track. There's no lockers, sauna or pool. But there are many workout equipment that are not in most gyms such as a core muscle machine and a good punching bag. There's also shower/bathroom combination rooms.Highly recommend this location for someone who wants get fit and work out. There's also classes and trainers here constantly-- I don't participate but they do seem consistent.

The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! Big shout out to Spencer (I believe he's the manager). Limited equipment but there's enough for you to get your workouts done. Not too busy around the afternoons/evenings either and it's open 24/7! There are also classes you can sign up for during the afternoons on some days too.

Small gym with limited equipment while the membership fee is close to other gym like LAfitness or the Y. If you go during rush hours 5-7pm then there’s no room to do your own workout or even stretch. They do offer fitness classes during those The gym and bathrooms often smells bad, they need to improve HVAC system. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you can only find time to exercise very late at night or before dawn then this is the gym for you.

Small facility, but has the essentials that fit most needs. No matter how early you go, there's a chance you have to wait. The early crowd is dedicated here. Staff is responsive until you need to cancel and that's when they become passive aggressive, intimidating, and difficult to work with. Make sure you have the agreed upon cancellation policy in writing when you sign up

Overall experience at Anytime Fitness is awesome! The gym is very clean and it has all the equipment you could possibly need. The staffs are friendly and very knowledgable. The pricing is reasonable and it is open 24/7. So, if you live in Quincy or the general area, this is the best gym where you can get all your workouts done at anytime.

they do not honor the 7 day free trial that is advertised on their website at this location. (btw there's literally an option right on this yelp page for a 7 day free trial). it's fine that they don't do the trial, but they should tell people beforehand that they do not, so that we both don't have to waste our times. i received an email, phone call, and text confirming my appointment and trial and not one of them said that this location did not offer the trial. when i asked about it at the end of the tour, the owner was pretty rude about it saying things like "so you're just going around gyms for free trials" and "free trials are for people who don't know anything about fitness", like what... people try out gyms all the time to see if they like the vibe and equipment. (definitely did not like his vibe). he also made bs excuses like this location is "in a city" and because they were doing an "end of year deal" so they can't do the trial. again, his excuses would be fine IF THEY TELL PEOPLE BEOFREHAND.
