The inside is pretty cool. Much different from your typical Bank of America. Service was a bit slow, but the person who helped me was very sweet even though we were running into technical difficulties.

This is a full service BoA branch with ATMs outside for after hours. During the weekends, I usually see two tellers working. The lines move quite quickly and I never have trouble with the service I received. While convenient, BoA and the other large banks around here do not offer the best in terms of savings accounts. With 0.01% as compared to others such as Barclays which offers 1.5%, it's almost a lie calling it a savings account.

I went in to close my account with BOA, and after talking with Quan Le, I decided to remain with the bank. The issue with maintenance fees was cleared up and he explained the benefits of my cash rewards card throughly. He is an outstanding Customer Relationship Representative, and I highly suggest seeing him if you have any issues! Thanks Quan!

This is one of the oldest branches of BOFA. In this day of online banking, it is a rarity I have to visit a bank for any transaction. But I do have to for any reason, I try my best to go to this branch. One of the oldest in town and possibly in greater Boston area, this branch is in a very old but a very well kept building. The interiors are quite spectacular just as much as the main building and the way it stands out bang in the middle of Quincy Center. Steps away from the Quincy Ctr T station, it is very convenient for anyone using public transit to get here. There used to be a parking lot behind the bank building along with a drive through ATM. It is under renovation as part of the Quincy Ctr. expansion / renovation project - I think. But street parking behind the bank near the court house is not bad at all if finding a spot on Hancock St is a hassle. The staff at this branch is very kind and quite efficient. There are quite a few counters for the bank tellers for all the general transactions. There are also booths where personal bankers help you with more intensive needs and consultations. I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes for either the general banking tellers or any other consultations. The service is always quick and easy and for the more critical needs, very informative and helpful indeed. A great example of a very well run branch.

I agree with other reviewers that this location is gorgeous. Definitely worth a walk by, even if you don't plan to do any banking. I always enjoy looking at the paintings behind the teller's area. I have had some great tellers, as well as some not-so-great tellers here. One time, I had to make a withdrawal, and I asked the cashier to please place the money inside an envelope for me. She told me that I had to do it myself. :| My strategy for avoiding lines is to visit during the off-hours, which means staying away from lunchtime and 5 PM, when I am sure the working crowd will try to get their banking in. I have never waited in a line with more than 6 people (and even that wait was a one-off). Most of the time, I am able to be seen right away.

I love the feel of this location. Walking in is like walking back in time. You can see all the intricate architectural Art Deco design dating back to 1929 by J. Williams Beal Sons of Boston along with the contractor being L. P. Soule & Son Co. You will find massive portraits along the walls of the main banking area of Quincy's history. This building should be in the National Register of Historical Places since Quincy's banking services was the first in the US to capitalize through public subscription of its stock. Aside from the historical significance, the employees are professional and friendly. I can get in and out with my banking needs without much hassle.

This is a very nice branch of the evil bank. Central location steps away from the Quincy t stop. The building is pretty. Love the high ceilings and window panels. Not your typical cubes and white walls. Everyone working here is nice and super friendly. I never had to deal with a "problem" here, but they have been depositing my checks here. So far so good. The tellers are friendly and the check in person does not annoy you( see my review of the Mass Ave location). Can be busy during the peak times but they always have at least four windows open, so you don't have to wait in line for too long.
