Too crowded. Folks park near the lumber door like it was their VIP parking even when they are just going in for a box of nails. At least they are not usually out of things like the Willard St one.

My sister used Home Depot to install carpeting in her home and I loved the results! Two weeks ago I placed an order for the same exact carpet and I paid in full for a carpet installation. The installation is scheduled for this Monday the 15th. Last Monday, I called Home Depot's flooring department and asked to modify my order. I had a simple request to add a small 30 square foot space to the order. Same carpeting. Just a tiny hallway which connects the two rooms already paid for. I've had to call back each day now, for the last four days. I also made two separate calls to the installer. However, I still have no answer. Aggie and Victoria are nice people, but this location and/or department seems to be very disorganized. I'm not confident I'll be happy with the results and I'll be requesting a full refund so that I can go to another installer. It's a bummer because my kids and I have been looking forward to getting this done, and now it's going to be pushed back.

I cannot believe the 6+ hours it took to rectify an issue caused by terrible delivery men. After spending $1600 on a washer & dryer, I would hope that I would have the appliances & install I paid for and be treated respectfully. After waiting 2 weeks for the delivery, the service men came & told us that because we eventually wanted our units stacked (& did not have a stacking kit), we needed to call our local Home Depot & have someone else come out. I asked him if he could just install them side by side but he said it was pointless since this was a simple "service call." We tried to refuse service because we knew this wouldn't get resolved, especially in the same day, but he instead insisted and unloaded them right in the middle of our house. He also forgot to deliver the add ons that we paid for in advance. Last but certainly not least, he didn't haul away our old appliances that we also paid in advance to have hauled away. Fast forward an hour later, I get ahold of the delivery service that tells us that this is on HD to resolve, then HD conveniently blames the delivery service. Also, we had so many useless or incredibly rude employees either not return our calls or give us the wrong information. Shoutout to the rude man answering the phones at the pro desk on Saturday (never gave us his name), Melinda (who gave us the wrong phone number to follow up with), Linda, and Amanda who worked for the delivery service. The only helpful person I spoke with today was Jessica McGill. Home Depot should probably look into some customer service retraining or maybe just hiring some people that don't hate talking to human beings. We are now hiring someone local to come install our washer and dryer tomorrow as well as haul away the old appliances.

Disappointing and frustrating experience. Recently went to the Quincy Home Depot to purchase a washer/dryer. The initial transaction at the time of the purchase was great. The appliances were to be delivered on a Monday between 7:30 - 11:30 AM. We both took the day off to welcome the new appliance. At 10:15am on the day of delivery, we received a call (from Doreen), that the "truck broke down" can't deliver today. What? She was sympathetic but no apology, no nothing. She suggested a delivery the next day. Well we could not take another day off....so we were forced to cancel the transaction all together. Seems as though there should be some policy that Home Depot should have to at least make the delivery the "day of" even if the truck broke down. So is the truck towed away with everyone's appliances inside? No other truck to transfer the items to and then deliver that day? Very disappointing and resulted in a lost sale for Home Depot (although they most likely don't care). . .leaves us with a feeling that Home Depot is not reliable for the delivery.

Horrible customer service. It took me three days to get anyone to answer the phone when I called to ask about my order. When I finally reached someone she first told me she didn't know anything and that the person who handled the scheduling would not be in until Monday. Then she said she could set up my appointment for Monday. I asked how she could do that, since she just finished telling me she didn't know about scheduling. She had no answer for that. After speaking to a sup

So originally I wasn't going to write this comment and I'll explain in a minute why I did. First I would like to leave a positive comment, Miguel and the customer service manager helped me with some tax refunds the other day and they were so nice to work with. Very respectful and helped me even though I kind of didn't know what I was doing. Came back the following week and there was a few women behind the desk I didn't know, I asked for help with he second portion of the paperwork and immediately Lisa was flip and said" give me those" then slammed my stack of papers to the girl next to her and said " you have to do ALL of this, k?". She was "so starved she was going to die" she has a little baby bump and you could tell she was irritated. I did give her a dirty look cause I didn't appreciate the disrespect and she asked me " something wrong?" As if she was going to start a confrontation with me. I ignored her and got a managers help. So, I wasn't going to leave this comment but I decided I was going to when I was shopping in the aisles for a lawn mower and she passed me by and snuffed her head at me and laughed at me as I walked by. Pregnant or not you DO NOT have the right to treat customers that way. We spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year at the Home Depot for our job sites. Lowe's is right next door. Fire this individual. Oh by the way. She was like that to the other guests as well. I'm disgusted.

Wow talk about a change in atmosphere since I came back to this Home Depot. Most of the employees here hates their job! They are rude, disgruntle, unhappy and not helpful at all! I came into the store looking for some hardware. I showed one of the worker there (an older gentleman) a picture of the rivet I needed to find for purchasing. Instead of helping me, he gave me a dirty look and a sigh of disgust when I politely asked him "excuse me sir, can you point me to the aisle for which I can locate this piece of hardware?". It felt like I was being a burden for him to do his job. No wonder he is an employee here working minimum wage. With that attitude, he won't get far in life =/ As for the cashier at the return section, she clearly hates her job. She look grumpy and miserable all the time. Just my 2 cent - this place has horrible, VERY horrible customer service. It is a very rare occasion in which I meet someone that is helpful and friendly. If you are coming, prepare for the worst. To the owner of this Home Depot - I hope you retrain your employees or hire ones that are motivated to do their job. They are destroying your business. - On a note - I do want to give praise to the short, Caucasian lady working at the paint section. She is very helpful with everything. This is how customer service should be. Maybe this Home Depot should be training their other employees to be like her.

Purchase multiple products online, rather then grouping it together, they split it up to different small order in different location, email was sent and was told my order was picked up by me yesterday, which I didn't. After holding for 20 minutes on the phone, got a bad attitude customer support man told me the order was pick up by another HD store but not me, I said why you email me and confirmed the order was picked under my name, I need some written confirmation said I DID NOT PICK it up. He said that how they do business and they don't have to explain nor email to correspond to actually what happen to it because they don't have the facility to do that, if you are not satisfy, you can cancel it and this is how we do businesses. i SAID I did not pick up the merchant you cannot lie !! Bottle line is,the customer service and so called SUPERVISOR ARE HAVING BAD ATTITUDE , WRONG POLICY TO COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMER AND don't care BUT KEEP SAYING THAT IS THEIR COMPANY POLICY AND HOW TO HAND AN ORDER !! HD need to set an appropriated communication with their online customer, better customer service , when WRONG IS WRONG, when a customer service is WRONG, it is WRONG, you company policy will NOT make it RIGHT.

Trying to find a shower head... not the cheap kind... along with a few other things. Simple, right? 2 depressed looking employees saw me looking around and reversed course like I was a skunk. Never found the suitable item. This isn't the first time... but will be the last of similar experiences at this store.

Horrible customer service in the garden department. My boyfriend and i were looking at Christmas trees and they weren't priced so i asked a lady wearing a Home Depot apron if she happened to know the prices and she looked at me disgustingly as if i had just asked to sacrifice her first born and then said no and walked away. There was then a man who worked there that came over to us while we were looking at tree stands. As i started to ask him a question, before i could even finish my sentence he rudely told me that the guys that could help me were "over there". Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and found a nice tree that wasn't banged up like the ones at Home Depot and finally got some good customer service. While we are new homeowners and were excited to look through Home Depot and plan what we'd have for the new home to remodel, we will not be coming back

Just visited this store to return an item on 11/25/17 at approximately 5PM. There were to younger girls working the Customer Service desk both with long brown hair. I regret not taking their names. The one that waited on me had to be the most unfriendliest human being I have ever come across in a Customer Service oriented job. Not sure what management was thinking when they decided to put this person behind a Customer Service desk. Never felt so poorly treated at a Home Depot let alone any retail establishment. The girl working beside her was not any better. Both were very negative and outright rude. Home Depot, please re-think having these girls work the Customer Service desk. They have no business dealing with customers. Maybe placing them at the very very back of the store where they don't have to have any interpersonal skills is a much more suitable option for them. The only positive experience was the manager that was very nice and polite and obviously in the right role. Do better Home Depot...

Poor customer service. Black Friday Xmas tree shopping. Good selection of trees but no one to cut the trunk off. Garden worker overhead paged someone to come. We waited around for 20 minutes in the cold. No one came so we left. Better customer service would have prevented you from losing a customer. I purchased my trees here every year until now.

I wish I could give this store 0 stars. My boyfriend and I ordered a washer and dryer from this store in June, and with multiple visits and phone calls for almost 2 months, we ended up with no products. We ran into multiple issues with our purchase, from ordering the machines to the delivery. We wasted hours trying to make this work, but in the end, we were left with unprofessional management who wanted to charge us an extra $150. There was also an employee who was unapologetic and wasted our time by sharing details about her personal life. We didn't come into Home Depot to hear about how our lives aren't difficult and hers is because she has kids with lots of laundry and the fact that she has to share a washer and dryer with the other tenants in her building. I'll be nice and keep her name off of this review. I'm also surprised that management did not care when we said we would be taking all future business to Lowe's. It seems as if they did not want to deal with their problems. Avoid this Home Depot and save yourself a headache. We will be taking all of our future business to Lowe's across the street, as many Yelpers have already suggested.
