I imagine that this is great insurance company if you are the insured party. However, if you have to make a claim against one of their clients, and you're expecting a quick and easy process: lower your expectations and have your state insurance board on speed dial. I was rear ended by one of their clients on October 21st, 2023. They totaled my vehicle even though the damage was something I know could easily be fixed. The had some hack assess my vehicle. He never turned it on or open the hood, and estimated that it would be totaled. After it was declared a total loss, they tried giving me $4000 less than what my vehicle was worth. I had to provide them with comps and price points. It wasn't until the December 5th that they mailed my total loss check. If you ask for status updates, you either won't get one, or they will send you inaccurate information. Expect to do their jobs for them. I'm just happy to be done with them.

My car was sideswiped while parked, necessitating the replacement of 2 doors and fenders. Quincy Mutual was quick to assess the damage, our agent recommended an auto body shop and 2 weeks later, the car looked new again. No hassle, no problems and I didn’t have to write any checks. This is what you always hope for from an insurance company when you need them.

I was having car repair done after an accident and the garage was not responding. I called Quincy Mutual seeking options. The appraiser called the garage three days in a row to insure they completed the work. That is an insurance company going above and beyond. Greatly appreciated the customer support.

Rachel and the other ladies at Quincy Mutual have always been so helpful. I've been using them as our agent since 1987 - our Dad always used them too. With the economy, I needed to get on their e-billing monthly, instead of the quarterly billing. Everything went smoothly because they know what they are doing. Thank you to them - they made my day - actually year!

Quincy Mutual reversed a payment and then cancelled my boyfriend's car insurance without notifying him OR the company he'd gotten it through, Hadsel Insurance. We found out on the 8th, when he went to go pay this month's insurance bill. He wound up saving over $60 a month by going with Progressive! From $204-$212 a month to $144 for both his motorcycle and car!

I filed my first claim in 49 years and they paid quickly. With in weeks of paying the claim they said they would not renew my home owner's insurance unless I had some dead moss cleaned from my roof. Cost was in excess of $1600. or I could clean it myself, I'm 74 years old. I had the roofing material manufacture's represenitive look at it and he said it was dead and not doing any harm. The shingles are warranted for 40 years and were installed 20 years ago. I don't want to do anything that will jeopardize the warrantee

I have been insured by Quincy Mutual through my longtime insurance agent at McDonough Insurance for decades. They have always been informative and caring, even when a claim had been necessary on my auto & a home that we've owned over the years. I wouldn't think of insuring anything elsewhere. Thank you.

This insurance company is nothing short of scam artists. They charge insane rates, use shady assessors that have no idea what they are doing, and if by some miracle they actually honor a policy and cover something, they will claim to send you a check about 3 or 4 times hoping you just forget and don't actually get paid.
