“We had planned to have my grandfather’s 100th birthday party there but ended up having to cancel it due to his health. Throughout the whole process, the Tirrell Room staff were patient and understanding of the situation, and we hope to have another event there if given the opportunity. He made it to 100 today, but at home. I highly recommend the Tirrell Room!”

“First and foremost thank you Marie for all your help! This lady goes above and beyond! she doesn't just rent you out the place and that's it. - I've rented the Sons of Italy 3 times in the past. The first time was 14 years ago, YES 14! for my sisters baby shower, again in 2017 for my wedding reception (We used the upstairs room for our reception) and then again in July 2023 for my husbands surprise 40th Birthday party.From beginning to end she was a great help, for all parties. Whenever I would email her with questions she would get right back to me.. she knew the surprise party had me stressed out! lol my wedding not so much because she literally takes care of everything, you just tell her how and what you want and she makes it happen! (for the wedding receptions) - She is very thorough and clear when explaining the contract so there is no confusion later.,Most rental halls have a bar minimum that has to be met, which is fine. In our case that was never an issue! Marie literally helped set up, and clean up! She even set up the food that was delivered from the caterer and let me use her chafing dishes even though I had bought my own! she said it would make my life easier when the party ended , less clean up for me! I mean C'mon what other hall would consider that?! She also, offered bar height tables when we thought there wasn't going to be enough seating for my guest. My vendors didn't have an issue showing up, Marie was very accomodating, including my photo booth vendor.The downstairs hall is spacious and updated, the upstairs hall is huge and very pretty, has nice chandeliers too. The bathrooms are clean and newer, the bartenders are great, there's also lots of parking.All in all I will continue to use Sons of Italy as my first go to for any event.”

“I'm not a member. But I do enjoy going to their meat raffle which are the first Friday of every month. You have an opportunity to win meat packages that add to about fifteen dollars. There are also cash prizes. The evening starts off at 6pm and a fresh,hot meal served shortly after 6,then the winning begins,for others mostly, I haven't had much good luck lately,except for meeting some of the nicest people in all of Quincy. And for you generous,Civic minded people out there,all the money raised goes into a scholarship program for deserving Quin cy high school students. So that's a reason to go and have a great meal,and have a chance to go home happy. I hope you'll go a support this very worthy cause.”
