“I rarely grocery shop at America's Food Basket, but it's good that I can find certain products there from the Caribbean when I need them. What I buy there several times weekly, however, is the prepared Haitian foods. The line at the food table has been getting longer as more people are discovering this yummy little secret. The food is sold by the pound, so you can fill your styrofoam take out container with your favorites. The semi sweet fried plantains are a big hit and always disappear the fastest. The griot is another favorite, followed by the fried pork. Often I miss the griot no matter what time I arrive. I've gotten there as early as 10:30 a.m. and the food was there, but that was an exception. It seems that the average time that all of the food will be there is around 11:30 a.m. This food spot is very popular and the food is tasty. Bring your own shopping bag to secure your purchase or pay 10 cents per bag at the checkout. If you cannot wait until you get home to eat, tables and chairs are available near the food. Don't forget to grab your utensils.”

Just want to combat the review I just read saying how “annoying” it is that some staff do not speak English—this doesn’t bother me whatsoever as I know that there are countless other English-speaking staff throughout the store that could help me should I need it. The non-English speaking staff contribute to making the store great. The food is fantastic, the shelves are always stocked and organized. I appreciate everyone who works there. Janna, I see you’ve complained about people not speaking English in your Google reviews of other establishments—I think maybe you should try learning a new language! ?”

The only way to properly execute this place is to go every day for a week and hit a different area every day and you still won't make it through every area.....”
“We ordered party platters for a birthday party, and I am so glad we did. The Grand deli and cheese was fresh delicious and the veggie platter was excellent, even came with French onion dip. We got high praise from our guests on the taste of the food.
When I picked up the order, the guy was prompt and organized! He was really friendly and helped cart the order to our car and put it in. I can't recommend Lambert's enough!”

“Reasonably priced grocery store. They usually have decent produce at slightly lower prices than the major grocery stores.
The biggest drawback is the long checkout lines at the registers. However, if you get there when they first open, there usually aren't too many people, so checkout is much faster.
The Aldi stores in Florida, especially the ones in Miami, have a better overall selection and carry more specialty products that aren't available in the Massachusetts stores.”
“Friendly service when I went in. Although there was a bit of a language barrier i was still able to get what I wanted. A bit upset they didnt have the beef jerky i was looking for but the sandwiches came out to be really good so it was worth the first time visit for me. Will most likely be going be again for the sandwiches”

“One stop shop for all your South Asian grocery needs. The staff are incredibly helpful and professional. Wide variety of goods. The meat availability is a huge plus. Finding halal goat around the area is a struggle and even places that have it need to be notified well in advance. This place though, walk right in and get as much as you need and the quality is out of this world! Who needs Patel Brothers when you have this friendly neighborhood business?”
