“Hi my name is Charlotte, this is my review of the “Paper Store” in Reading. This is a very good store. Legs start with the fact there are needohs. So many needohs! The manager (she is a manager) was very helpful with the needohs.”
“We were expecting an MBTA gift shop, we didn't realise we'd find such a treasure trove of maps, signs and transport related joy. Lovely folks running it and bit of an accidental travel highlight!”
“What a find! The Crafty Yankee is one of those great little shops where you want to take everything home. It's just full of perfectly picked items that make you think, 'Yep, that would look great in my house.' It's officially my new go-to for gifts, and the fact that they'll gift wrap for you is a huge plus. You’ll find a great mix of things—cool jewelry, amazing-smelling candles, stylish glassware, and cozy sweatshirts, just to name a few. They also have the best selection of Lexington 250th anniversary stuff I've seen around. I honestly can't believe it took me this long to discover this place!”
“I've been coming here for Adult Pottery Classes for 5 semesters now. Bel is a fantastic teacher, and I really gravitate to her education style. There is such a spectrum of experience/skill amongst my classmates, but the positive and collaborative environment enables us all to create alongside each other without any imposter syndrome.
I totally recommend this studio for anyone who wants to try pottery on the wheel.”

“Literally my favorite place to shop for both myself and others! They have so many handmade items that are perfect gifts for any occasion! They also have the cutest selection of clothing. Something for everyone here! Will be back many times”
“We just had the most wonderful experience here. Christmas Shopping with two toddlers can be a workout, but the owner of the shop not only took the pressure off of me while I shopped for gifts, but she made the experience for my boys’ a special one. She took the time to sit down with them and write a letter to Santa keeping them occupied. Not only was the customer service next level, the uniques pieces make for great gifts! Thank you!!!”
“Paper and Clay is a fantastic place to find pieces by local artists or to take a pottery class and create your own unique piece of art! The pottery wheel session was fun and relaxing. The owner, Leslie, is very knowledgeable and the class was the perfect way to introduce pottery to a beginner. .”
“What a fabulous giftshop. I signed up for a class that was held in the back of the store. The class was to make a hand scorched cheese tray. Before class I had the chance to walk around the store and look at all the fabulous gifts. Staff was super nice and helpful when I had questions. They offer great hands on class all year...and a wide selection of cute gifts. I look forward to taking another class and buying gifts there...”
“I had high hopes for this florist since I wanted something special for a friend's birthday. The flowers were beautiful, but the arrangement was a bit off. Still, the service was nice, and they tried to help me find something I liked. Overall, decent experience.”

“Such a beautiful store! Spent a long time there yesterday choosing gifts and looking at the beautiful prints, fabrics, wallpaper, and shades. I know they're going to inspire some very cool future projects! A treasure in the neighborhood.”
“I attended the fabric ornament-making workshop at Maxima Gift Center and absolutely loved it! We created beautiful handmade ornaments by pinning fabric onto foam balls, such a fun and relaxing process. Our instructor, Candace, was wonderful. She explained each step clearly and was right there to help whenever we got stuck.
I left with one finished ornament and a full kit to make another at home. Highly recommended!”

“What a delight to come back to my home town and visit Sweet SurpriZe. Heidi’s store has something for everyone from clothing with the old Sachem logo and new logo to water bottles, draw string bags, candy and more. I highly recommend this store. Mim Quine, class of 76’.”

“Holly was very helpful and kind. I was tempted to just order everything I needed online, but going to the store was much more informative and ended up saving money!”
“This store is so cute! Davis Sq if my favorite part of Somerville, it's very neighborly and this store encapsulates what I love most about the area! The workers are so nice, going so far as personally picking up some jewelry for me that was out of stock at this location at their sister store as I don't have a car. Will definitely be back, thanks!”
“We went shopping for a gift with my 2yo today. Staff is friendly and informative. We love the lovely and extensive collection there! This is the kind of store that makes me want to be there instead of online shopping!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Comforting Gift That Keeps on Giving!
I received Grandma’s Chicken Noodle Soup with fresh bread as a gift, and it was absolutely delightful from the moment it arrived. The packaging was incredibly thoughtful and secure — you could tell care was put into every detail.
The soup itself was rich, flavorful, and heartwarming — exactly what you’d expect from something made with love. The chicken was tender, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth tasted like something straight out of grandma’s kitchen. The fresh bread that came with it was soft and the perfect companion to the soup.
I enjoyed it so much that I ended up ordering the soup and bread bowl combo as a gift for a coworker just a few days later! This is now my go-to comfort food gift. Whether it’s for someone who’s under the weather, needs a little cheering up, or just deserves something delicious, Grandma’s Chicken Soup hits the spot every time.
Highly recommend!”
“Love the range of great artisan products and exciting events being held at this gallery. The staff are really nice and welcoming! They use all pre-cautious measures for covid-19.”

“Fun, funky, quirky and elegant all at once. Super- helpful owner. There's a mystical element (bought Tarot-like cards), treats (bought caramels), serveware, books, home items and decor, and it's all beautifully curated with a designer's eye.”
“I think this shop is really successful, it has every product you want and most of the products have very different shapes and are usually handmade, I like it very much, I haven't seen many shops like this in Boston”
“Cute shop they have lots of neat local artists and Christmas in July was so fun ! My son loved meeting the grinch and the raffles. We loved the artisit booths as well. They even and treats and refreshments, super fun event!”
“If you need traditional gifts for Catholic occasions, this is a very good bet. They even turned around some engraving on sole silverware for me within 36 hours. While there are other gift shops in the area, this is the only one I’m aware of that does the traditional catholic thing in depth.”
“Great little spot full of really cool and unique gift ideas, I find myself here often when I'm on Market St. sometimes it's something in the window that draws me in, other times it's just curiosity but this place never seems to disappoint. Worth a visit if you have the time and worth making the time for if you don't.”
