“Incredible experience with Smart Penny Moving. I had a small but tough job to do -- transport an antique 300lb+ cast iron bath tub from a refinishing shop in Watertown to my home in Boston, then cart it up 2 flights of stairs to the bathroom. Other moving companies nervously quoted me for a truck with 4 movers before backing out altogether, worried that they wouldn't be able to navigate the stairs and hallways with the tub. Smart Penny Moving sent a truck with just 2 guys, and somehow made the job look easy. The tub traveled from street level to the 2nd floor in under a minute! Amazing. Plus, the process for communication and payment was streamlined, the guys arrived exactly when they said they would, and they offered the best price of any company I called. Fantastic, professional experience and I would use them again without hesitation.”

“I had to move my elderly mother across the country on very short notice. R.C. Mason Movers was able to fit us in and worked with me to make the experience less stressful than it already was. I got quotes from 5 of the well known national movers and went with Atlas after going over the quote with Adam from R.C. Mason. The actual movers were very friendly and professional.
Everything arrived in good shape and the final cost ended up about $1,000.00 less than the estimate.
I did extensive research before making the final decision and I'm happy to say it paid off.

“We had a very positive experience with Home Team Moving — it was fantastic from start to finish. I called several different companies for quotes and Ben was the only one who offered, actually insisted, that he come to house. He wanted to see exactly what the move would entail so he could give us an accurate quote. (I was annoyed to get quotes from other companies who had not even seen our home.) Ben came out the next day, walked thru the house, saw every floor, every room, opened every door. He immediately had suggestions for how to handle the move efficiently and with the least amount of stress. It was clear that he wasn’t just considering how to our stuff, but also how to help us handle the move emotionally. A day or two later he sent me an estimate with a breakdown and a proposed schedule. It was a helpful process that made me feel like we were in good hands.
We ended up spreading the move out over three days. The first day the team tackled the kitchen and helped me pack our basement, which included a large number of collectibles and memorabilia. It was an emotional day for me as I helped them remove and carefully pack the items. The team was supportive and positive and kept things moving along. We followed more of Ben’s great advice and stayed at a hotel the night before the move. Load in day had them dealing with icy conditions in the driveway, but the team was prepared and unfazed. Again, everyone was positive and efficient. They were constantly checking in about where we wanted things placed so we wouldn’t have to move anything after they left. We have moved MANY times over the last 20 years and this was by far the least stressful. It was actually kind of fun — great conversations, lots of laughter and kindness all around. We are thankful to Ben and the whole team for making it such a great experience.
FYI: we moved from a 3000sqft home to a 4000sqft within the same town.”

“Ben and team moved us from MA to SC. I've heard horror stories about interstate moves, but this one could not have gone any better. They were at our house exactly on time on moving day and carefully recorded everything that was to be packed up. Two days later they showed up on time 1100 miles from where they started and unpacked everything where we wanted. Despite moving 3 large TV's and many large pieces of art, not a single thing was damaged or broken. On top of it all, Ben, Jeremiah, and Ryan were incredibly nice. Great move, at a great price--they get my highest recommendation.”

“I needed a mover in a hurry when a file cabinet I purchased was only delivered curbside instead of to its location, like I expected. Jeff was very professional, asking questions to determine the scope of the move and emailed me an estimate before work began. It did take a couple of days and back and forth texts to schedule, but I understand how, after a long day's work, especially physical work, it can be hard to get to the administrative stuff. Once the job was scheduled, within my required timeframe, Jeff kept in constant contact and kept me informed of delays the morning of. When they arrived, he and his employee took great care in scoping out what was needed to move the file cabinet (which turned out to be much heavier that I thought) safely and without damaging anything. When they were done, they broke down the big box the file cabinet came with for me. I assume because the move took less than the required minimum, they also offered to move something else for me. I would definitely recommend Grasso Family Moving. I appreciate that he accommodated my small job with a tight timeframe during a busy moving season.”
