Not a fan of this bank at all. They have practically zero ATM availability w/o being charged for each transaction. Weird hours where sometimes they'll close on a Wednesday in the middle of August for company events. I plan on closing my account there in the next couple of weeks.

I’ll tell you why….Telling me I can’t take my money out of my savings account this bank is the worse never go here. They won’t let you take you’re own money out like it’s my fault that you took over my bank that I had without any notice what so ever don’t expect me to be a customer ever even if u were last bank on earth id keep my money in my house before u bank!!!! I bet they will try n blame it on the bank they took over wich is closed now.

Reading Cooperative has to be one of the best banks to deal with. Very helpful with my equity loan and PPP loan. Can't say enough good things about them. Also a great friend to the community. Always donating and helping groups.

Overall we are very pleased with the bank and the services they offer. Small bank with everything you will need to do general banking. A few of their savings and loan plans are not the most competitive in the industry compared to other small banks (hence the 1 star dink), but for general banking they are very good. Nice to have a bank opened on Saturdays with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

My wife and I just closed on our first home in Boston, and got our mortgage through Reading Cooperative Bank. They offered us a very competitive rate, but more importantly, their customer service throughout the whole process was incredible. We worked with Stephanie J. She was great at letting us know what we needed to do and when, and keeping us on schedule to close on time. Since this was our first home, we had lots of questions, and Stephanie was always available to answer them. Really, we couldn't have asked for more.

Was in the process of mortgage application, paid all these fees only to have my application rejected because of concerns for the condo association property for potential cost where other units have sold without any issues. I understand certain fees are nonrefundable but I feel ripped and taken advantage off especially when every dollar counts towards the expense of being a 1st time homebuyer with a lot of money upfront. Be cautious and compare other banks if fees are associated to lock you into a rate.

They are a 5 star rating for me. Two locations in Wilmington, my town, is a plus. No fees is even better. Early hours for drive thru is awesome. Friendly staff what more could you ask for. Oh yes love how you can now deposit cash without using envelopes in the ATM. Keeping up with the bigger banks makes me keep them. Over 25 years with them and just keeps getting better. Reading Cooperative Bank keep up the food work.*****

They are good, not great, though they do make the effort as of late. I see improvement from when they had me practically pulling out my hair there for a while. They just need to stop acting like a big bank and stick with the local bank attitude of service, service, service. And increasing their pathetic savings rate would help too. And return to withdrawing bill payment checks right away by holding the amount. I hate having to hold my breath for a bill pay check to clear.

I have been with RCB for 20 + years. There is no better bank,ATM no fees and no fee checking. My Dad started me on RCB when they were one small building in Reading. Now they are growing and their employees are top notch. Even when my debit card was compromised they notified me immediately and issued a new one!! They caught it before I did. There is NO other bank that treats their customers better
