first I would like to stay that I've been with Salem Five bank for 17 years. On July 21st of this year I had a cashier's check done up for a credit card bill . Long story short that cashier's check was lost in the mail so I got Salem Five to cancel the check and I had to pull more money out so I could write another check and physically deliver it to the credit card company. In order for me to get my money back on the original check , Salem Five needs me to get my credit card company to sign an affidavit stating they never cashed or received that check. That credit card company is refusing to sign that they received anything and Salem Five doesn't have any answers for me if someone denies signing the affidavit . It's almost been 3 months now and no one still has any answers on how to get my money back . I have verified at my credit card companies branch that the check was never cashed and I also had Salem Five check on their end if the check was cashed which it wasn't. The amount was for $5, 980 and no one can give me any answers on how to get that back . I do not hold my money here anymore .

Not sure if there was different staff from older reviews, but I've been banking here for a little while now and have had nothing but the best experience each and every time. They are the most friendliest and helpful people!

I have been with this bank for 9 years and absolutely love the personalized service. They greet me using my name and do whatever it takes to make my banking experience a pleasure.Gabriel Moraga, the Branch Manager is Outstanding! He goes above and beyond to make sure I'm all set!Pat, one of the teller's is just terrific! She is so professional and so kind.

Customer Service is unacceptable, waited in a very long drive through line, customer in front of me got out of line and left, once I finally got to the window I was told I would have to wait even longer while the lobby was serviced, seriously? It shouldn’t take a half hour to unsuccessfully complete a transaction at the 2 bay drive up
