Your manager today was extremely rude while I was attempting to exchange an item today! Her expression(s) said she couldn’t be bothered trying to help me or salesperson at the register (who was very sweet). I asked if the item could be located at another store. She shrugged and mentioned two, while her back was to me. I politely asked her to turn around if she was to speak with me. She didn’t, but found the item in the store with a grimace that said, “here…you satisfied?” This person needs a serious lesson on what customer service means or (to be brutally honest) be fired! Also, could this manager try and care how you dress and present to the public?? Not a good presentation and attitude at all! What a shame on The Paper Store.

New favorite paper store location! The ladys here are so nice and helpful they helped me with jellycats and they were super sweet definitely will go to this location more 😀

This store and the staff are just all around wonderful here! Got my sister’s ears pierced for her birthday and it was super professional and safe. The ladies that work in this store are super sweet and helpful. The best experience I’ve had at a paper store! 🤍

I asked a store associate for the restroom after shopping for a few minutes. She directed me to Kim, another associate. She then directed me to Starbucks, where I of course had to purchase a drink to use their restroom. Nonsense. Seems like sheer laziness on the staff's part or poor communication amongst the team. Regardless, won't be going back.

Worst shopping experience of my life, seriously would give 0 stars if possible. Please read before shopping here: Came in with my fiance to get some gifts and as my fiance is shopping and putting things in her basket, I hear the employees say, follow him, he’s stealing and suspicious (AS I AM JUST LOOKING AT ENGAGEMENT GIFTS!) anyways, when I hear this, I tell my fiance to empty her basket since we would not be spending our money here. As we leave I say “just so you know, I’m allowed to look around without being made to feel like I’m stealing” and we left. As we’re leaving they start apologizing and asking us to come back and shop, yeah right. They started saying that “normal people steal too” whatever that means. Just prepared to be profiled and made to feel like an awful person for simply being in their store. I’m disgusted and won’t spend another penny at a paper store again.

Bought the large ceramic Xmas tree and star was missing. Trying to call customer service and no one answers. Tried in store and they said I had to go to another store. I suppose I can just return it but it's a pain. Just wanted someone to send me the star. Guess it's no one's job.

This is the 2nd time in two weeks I've been to the Reading store and both times an older woman (possibly the manager) was rude. Corporate would be wise to re-train this woman in effective customer service. Needless to say, I'll be shopping at the Paper Store in nearby Lynnfield. And if anyone is rude there, I'll assume this poor customer service is sanctioned by Corporate.

I was in the Reading store earlier today and was planning on purchasing a few items. When I got to the register, I requested a box. I was told by a sales associate that she would have to charge me a dollar for the box. I was shocked! I told her I thought it was ridiculous. I asked the sales associate if she would override the box fee, especially for the amount of money I was spending. She said she could not, that the fee came directly from corporate. I then said, I am sure your manager has the authority to override the fee. The manager was standing there, she turned her back to me. I left the merchandise on the counter and left. I guess they don't need or want my business. They lost the profit on my purchase over the box fee. Just a suggestion for management, perhaps you should post signs throughout the store stating the box fee. This would avoid what I went through. It would allow your customers to make a decision as to whether they want to purchase from the Paper Store or go to a store with better customer service. Needless to say, I will never go back to that store! L.A.
