We had a great meal last night! Service and food were excellent. We had NE calamari and a soft pretzel for apps. Both were tasty and generous. Prime rib specials were cooked to perfection. The chicken special and short rib dinner were both yummy with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh veggies cooked just right. Drinks were super as well. Added bonus of live music. All around wonderful experience!

We have been here before and always had a great meal portions are great. Matt Silva was playing his guitar and singing away. Just perfect volume enough to hear the music but not to loud , could still have a conversation.

This was our first time at Hillside Tavern. We were greeted upon arrival by the only server in the restaurant. She was very nice and friendly even as we realized she was taking care of the whole place all by herself her high spirits did not falter. Food was okay, not the best but they made up by being extra nice. The place was full and even the chef was running plates to the tables and bussing at the same time. Not sure what happens the rest of the time but food took a long time because only this two people were in charge. Will try again when the weather is nicer. I believe they deserve another chance.

Understaffed again...... the wait staff was highly over tasked. The Paella was served with a lobster sawed/cut in half, laying on its side on top of the serving. The green Roe was clearly visible and the lobster was not prepared well at all. I ordered the additional lobster ravioli, which never came. We asked for tools to crack the shell, it/they never came. A single bite of the lobster tail was cold and rubbery. I sent the entire meal back and asked for the check. the last few visits there have been very disappointing in virtually all respects.

I do not typically do reviews but the experience we had last night was not great at all. There were 4 of us, we sat at the bar, place was packed and they had an event going on. We sat at the bar which that was empty, ordered drinks, this was 6:20pm. The bartender startedoff being attentive. We ordered dinner at 6:40, he came over to us at 7:19 to say sorry it's just really busy next door so the kitchen is backed up. We said no problem we aren't in a hurry. In the mean time we watched the bartender run around trying serve the bar which was completely full now and serve guests from the event. He had no ice, no glasses and no one to get these things. Once our food came out at 7:30 my husband and I ordered the salmon, our potatoes were lukewarm, my sisters steak and veggies were cold and when she sent it back the bartender promised it would be a new meal since tips were medium, heating this would over cook them. Well they heated it. We are all done and she's now waiting for a pizza and fries which took 25 more minutes. My husband waited over 15min for a glass of wine because he didn't have a corkscrew which never came so he gave him something else and my brother-in-law waited over 20min for a captain and ginger since next door took the captain...We find out the bartender hasn't worked there in over a year they just asked him to cover, he absolutely apologized to us for everything. I was angry at the fact they threw him into this chaos with no help or seems like preparation and this is the reason we will not be back to the establishment.

Use to be one of our favorite places. The last few times we've been, the food has been well below par. We tried to play it safe this time, and again, we were disappointed. We ordered Cesar salads with steak tips. Some of the steak was good, other parts were terrible due to the toughness of the meat. The Cesar dressing was homemade, but made with nothing but mayonnaise. I also started the meal with a clam chowder. Didn't taste great and mostly tasted like boiled potatoes. The atmosphere is fantastic. The employees and service are great and is one of the primary reasons we return.

Food wise the food was good the music was good and the place is nice. Service and staff are fantastic only complaint on my last visit was the portion of the steak tips for the price which I don't mind spending for a good plate this was not worth it. They were good but about half on what I expected.

We ordered our drinks before our friends arrived and our guest recieved his drink before we got ours. When I questioned if my Short Ribs were supposed to come with vegetables I was told it did not but checking the menu today I see that it did and it was also missing the onions strings as well. Other than that the service was efficient and the food was delicious. I reccomend the Arancini and the Pecan Salmon! Excellent dishes.

Look no further than Hillside Country Club for your wedding venue or honestly any event you are hosting. We had our wedding back in October 2023 and every single thing was perfect. Hillside Country Club has the best staff there is to help you book and plan your perfect day and is right by your side to make sure the entire day runs smoothly. The Director of Sales and Events, Sara, exceeded all our expectations for a wedding coordinator. She responded to every email in a timely fashion, answered all our million questions and made everything so easy for us. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception. We received so many compliments from our guests on how remarkable the venue was. Also, the venue offers some amazing add-ons including fireworks which we decided to do and it was by far the best decision ever. Every single attendee left the wedding in awe and will forever talk about the fireworks. Lastly, the food was PHENOMENAL from the cocktail hour appetizers to the main meals (we chose filet and herb roasted chicken) to the sides to the late night snacks and desserts (donuts were a huge hit as a to go favor). Every guest that I have talked to after the wedding has mentioned that the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The quality and value that you get when choosing Hillside Country Club for your wedding venue is second to none. I highly recommend this venue to host your wedding or any other event you’re planning. Book it, I promise you won’t regret it! Photos by Danyel DeBoise Photography

Played 9 holes and the course is in terrible condition -- never was pristine, but not even worth the $13 for 9 holes. Almost all the cart seats are ripped and are likely never cleaned. A shame, becuase it's a beautiful course with lots of possibilities.

Our first time at the Hillside Tavern and we will definitely be back! From the Service to the food and ambiance everything was perfect. TV's everywhere which we loved as well. The bartenders were great and that clam chowder was amazing. ?

The service was great. Food was also great. We had bolognese, lobster and scallop risotto, steak tips and chicken parm type dish with pasta in a type of pink vodka style sauce. The only complaint was the steak tips were chewy. The veggies that came with it were amazing. The pasta that came with the chicken was amazing. My bolognese was fantastic. The music was also good that night too.

We live close and I play for the Hillside Softball team in Rehoboth, so I've been here on many an occasion and recently the service has improved. The food is generally good, the ambience is great if you like outdoor eating (summer only). The entertainment is fun and it's nice to see friends and socialize in a relaxing setting that's not too far from home.

Went on a Sunday afternoon the weather was perfect, entertainment great but the bartenders and food were terrible. One tried to clear our drinks before we were finished, then after she cleared them never asked if we wanted another round or food, more than half the time she was leaning over the bar chatting with other wait staff. My BLT was more like a bacon sandwich, my boyfriends "grilled " chicken sandwich was more of a steamed piece of chicken.
