I love reading negative reviews! I immediately know who the 5% are. 5% of the people you deal with, in your personal & professional life, will never be happy. These people are at the Marriott right now, complaining that someone left a chocolate on their pillow. Or, the free shrimp at the buffet are too small.Anytime I've dealt with this operation (Ryan, Don, Melissa) they've made it clear to me that they appreciate the fact that I understand what they're up against. My last time in, someone was dropping off a generator that wasn't working...the day before our last "so called hurricane".These are the same people who stand in front of their microwaves, and tap their feet while looking at their watch.Common sense is not that common these days. It's tough to be positive & upbeat, when you are constantly dealing with the 5%, who happen to lack common sense as well...service your snowblower in September, not two days before the blizzard! My hat goes off to RDL, and I appreciate their knowledge, and understanding of this small engine world. Keep up the great work, and move on from the 5%!

Is it me or does it feel like everyone except for Don has an attitude? you call in or go in for something and you feel like you are bothering or inconveniencing them. One time dropping off equipment right at 8 am, Ryan comes walking in from the back and you can hear him pissing and moaning that there was a customer in the store. Just recently I had called to get a part, explained in depth what I need and was trying to confirm the part number and of course there was an attitude, there was no need for it. Also the receptionist should learn to put the phone on hold before talking about the person, that was also uncalled for. Why are you in business? Do you not want to help customers? I get it, sometimes being in business sucks, there are bad days but there are far more good days, here is a piece of advice from a fellow business owner, be kind, be helpful and be there for your customers because the overall “you’re inconveniencing me” attitude is going to be the cause of you loosing business but hey if you are ok with that than you keep being you.had to edit this review, wow!! going through and reading all your responses on all your negative reviews and that’s all you do is but the blame on the consumer…wow just wow!! Maybe you should get out of dealing with customers, here is another word of advice , take your negative reviews, read them, address the issues, better yourself and your business and stop responding putting blame on the customer, it’s just making you look stupid as a business owner

I was previously a customer of Seekonk Small Engine Repair for my riding mower, and they serviced the mower back in 2019 for a reasonable price and the service was amazing. Fast forward to now, RDL is supposedly the "new home" of Seekonk Small Engine Repair, and I needed another tuneup on my mower. Right from the start, I should've gone with my instincts and called another repair shop because the woman answering the phone was abrupt and would only answer in one-word phrases. Once I scheduled the pick-up of the mower and paid the deposit, they came the following day and I assumed that the service would be the same as before. I called the following week for a status and was very rudely told by the same woman, later identified as "Melissa," that "if it was picked up last week then I can tell ya that they haven't even looked at it yet." This threw me so I think I said something to the effect of "um, kay," and then she dropped the bomb that they were approximately 3-4 weeks backlogged and will not look at it until at least a couple of weeks, and when I stated that I wasn't told this when I made the first arrangements, she said she was too busy to talk to me because of another customer and threw me on hold before I could say anything. I remained on hold for over 20 minutes, but she didn't come back on the line. After another 2 weeks, I called again to ask about a status and to let them know that my lawn was now getting out of control, Melissa, as her usual rude and abrasive self, told me "yeah well, we've got 200 other people ahead of you who waited til the last minute to get their stuff in, so I don't know what to tell ya." Another week went by before the only person there with any sense of humanity called, his name was Don and was wonderful, and gave me my estimate with a delivery date. By Tuesday of that week another person named Ryan called to get my credit card info for payment, and I later found that this person was the owner via the MA SOS, and seemed to be cut from the same cloth as our lovely Melissa. Rude, abrupt, and grunted what I think may have been a "you're welcome" when I thanked them. The mower was returned to my home, but was returned still in drive and in third gear instead of being in neutral with the parking brake applied. Just to be clear, which makes me very angry to have to say this, I did not, nor have I ever "waited til the last minute," as was so rudely assumed by Melissa, to have my mower serviced. These previous reviews must have been from years past because I cannot understand how they can operate with such terrible service and treat people the way I was treated. I will never contact these people again.

They took my machine there. They took forever to look at it and actually did not fix the actual problem. They changed the belt and said it's all set. They blame my description of the problem. customer serviceis is rude people to deal with do not recommend.

Excellent service. I had service done on my tractor"s snow thrower and there was a problem when I tried using it for the first time. I called RDL and they came to my home within an hour and repaired it on site. Who does that these days?

I dropped off two leaf blowers that had been sitting for awhile. RDL took a look and there was nothing they could do to get them running correctly again. This wasn't an issue as I figured both blowers were too far gone. I paid for the service and asked the employee where the blowers were as I intended on selling them for parts. The employee acted like it was a hassle to check for them. I don't know if they lost them, threw them out or just couldn't find them in the building but they weren't able to return either one to me. No explanation, no apology and no mention that they would look any further. I get that neither blower was working properly, but that doesn't mean that it's all right for them to toss out someone else's property.

I was shopping for a new snowblower and our family had bought machines from RDL in Rehoboth before so they were my first and ultimately only stop. I wanted a USA made unit and I wanted it assembled by someone with know how (sorry Lowe's and Home Depot ) and the price for my Ariens Compact was the same at those home improvement stores and they delivered my unit (free cause we live in town) and the unit comes with a Great warranty and they fully service small engines if I have issues. I'm pleased so far! Now it just has to snow....

Ryan and Don give this business their all. Wide range of equipment. They stock and sell the latest of technology on the market. Such a great resource for any questions you may have. Happy to see Husqvarna added to the line up. Would like to see more hand tools for sale. Would make this place a real one stop shop for all landscaping needs.

Ryan and his staff at RDL are always professional and courteous. They treat every customer with respect whether they are a homeowner or landscape professional. On a personal note a few years ago my elderly grandparents generator was stolen from their home in seekonk. The Seekonk PD came and took the report but it wasn’t looking good since we had no serial number from the unit. The thieves did leave a battery tray behind that attached to the unit. Long story short I found the generator on Craigslist and Seekonk PD went and retrieved it. Ryan came and met my father and I at the Seekonk PD (on his own time) and was able to show the detectives some custom work he had done on the machine and prove it was his materials. Thanks to Ryan we were able to get my grandparents generator back. Thank you again to Ryan and all his staff at RDL equipment.

Great local business. Often has things I need at a moments notice. Very busy so don't be put off, if they seem a little curt in their interactions.

Snowblower would not start and I thought I could fix it myself. Looked easy on YouTube. Wasted 2 afternoons, made it worse (now leaking gas), and I had only 4 days before the big blizzard of 2022. And my wife was not happy I had delayed so long to call in experts. RDL team picked it up late Tuesday, replaced carburetor, fixed the machine, and drove it back to my home Friday afternoon. Just in time for the deep snow. Many thanks to the RDL team.

Make sure you check prices on everything you are going to buy there. Their service is extremly exspensive. I had a snow way 4 cu ft spreader installed on my ne 2021 F550. The price on the spreader was competitive but the wiring harness sells for 165.00 and I was charged 375.00. The remote sells for 295.00 and I was charged 425.00. The installation of the harness was a complete hack job and I was charged 450.00. He didn't even trim the zip ties he used to secure it and left the plug in end coiled up and zip tied it. I will do it the rite way myself. I had to go shack parts down for my receiver before he would start. The installation could not have taken more than an hour and a half. 300.00 per hour must be their rate. I will never go back there again. You over charged me on the remote, Wiring harness, and the install. The facts are the facts. Anyone can look up the parts and see you way over charged. The 450.00 install fee is a joke and my son could have done a better job when he was a teenager. Oh ya no selooid was installed so if you leave it pluged in the battery on the truck will go dead. Real proffesional Ryan , just what i wanted on my 85,000.00 new truck!!!
