I have been taking classes with Paula for a year now and have been to many yoga studios prior to finding Shanti Yoga and Fitness. Paula is nothing short of amazing, both as an instructor and a person. Her ability to teach students at varying levels and help all her students grow in their practice is impressive. Paula is caring, compassionate, understanding and welcoming. I am so happy to have found Shanti Yoga and Fitness and would not go anywhere else.

Very professional studio. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. The instructor is very knowledgeable about her moves and methods. After doing two weeks of the stretching classes I my flexibility improved tremendously. I highly recommend it

Paula is a fantastic yoga and fitness instructor. She offers a nice variety of classes for all levels with great pricing on class cards. The studio is warm and inviting with a lovely small town boutique feel. I highly recommend Shanti Yoga & Fitness for anyone!

What a wonderful experience! Paula is just a fantastic instructor, no matter what level you practice. So friendly, kind and helpful. I have done classes as well as one on one training where she helped me when Physical Therapy was not. The atmosphere at Shanti is one of family, all are welcomed and treated with respect, kindness and an inspiring amount of positivity!

This is an excellent studio and great for all levels. I have been attending for several years. Paula is a super yogi and passionate about you and your practice. Many classes to choose from and I like the blended class on Saturday which is part fitness and part yoga. I think most people seriously underestimate how helpful a yoga routine can be for your stamina and strength, plus it is a great stress reliever.

Paula is a wonderful instructor! Her studio is a very peaceful environment and a perfect place to nourish not only your body but your mind and soul. She is encouraging as well as challenging. I've been practicing yoga regularly for almost 20 years, and I am so happy to have found Paula and Shanti Yoga. Paula carefully designs the vinyasa yoga classes to be challenging and fun, with the beginning of the class specially crafted to lead your body and focus to the end of the class and the more difficult poses, and she always makes sure that everyone gets her time, attention and instruction. I've ticked a few of my personal goals off my own self-improvement list while practicing under her tutelage. Do yourself a favor and come and enjoy one of the classes at Shanti.

I've been coming to Shanti Yoga and Fitness for over three years and have to say Paula has been wonderful through every step of the way. The flexibility and strength I have gained in this times amazes me. From my first beginners class in yoga to my current classes, Paula has been an incredible teacher; encouraging, supporting and congratulating me on every milestone I've made. The studio she has created is a warm and relaxing place that I look forward to going to several times a week. The other yogis are so friendly and cheer each other on. Paula will walk you through a class that you will feel comfortable in, yet challenged. I travel over a half hour to get here, it is obviously worth it! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

I have enjoyed Shanti Yoga and Fitness since 2010. The classes have had a tremendous impact on my strength, flexibility, and balance. The owner/instructor is awesome! She not only has a deep knowledge and passion for yoga practice, but she understands anatomy. Paula can work with people of any ability, novice to expert. The studio has a great vibe that is inclusive and supportive. When someone reaches a milestone, everyone celebrates. I attend 2 to 3 classes a week. This place is the best!

You will find yourself counting the hours and minutes until you can go to class... and the variety of classes has something for everyone: weights, core exercises, yoga... you name it, Paula offers it! Paula is supportive and relaxed... all the while encouraging you to push yourself to the next level of a stronger, more balanced and confident YOU! If you are interested in giving yourself (or someone you love) the best gift ever, then this is it. I received my first 'class card' as a gift from my husband and have been taking classes for over 7 years now and can not believe the positive changes I have experienced in both body and mind! Classes are energizing, fun and very, very reasonably priced (check around you will quickly see the value)! Paula is honest, kind, compassionate incredibly down to earth... and embodies, the true yogi spirit. When I started, I could barely touch my toes before I knew it.. I was able to do things at 50 that I couldn't do at 18... I owe all of it to Paula. I encourage anyone who wants to feel healthier, stronger and more confident to visit Paula at Shanti Yoga... You will never know how cool it feels to do you first "inversion"... until you try!

I have been going to Paula at Shanti Yoga for the last 7 years. I can't even describe the amazing changes I have experienced over the years to my balance, flexibility, peace of mind, and overall well being. Prior to the age of 50, I had never been able to do half the things I now can do. I feel like I did when I was in my 20's. It is a work in progress and I have grown to understand that nothing comes without work and effort. No one puts more effort into helping you than Paula does. And no one is more understanding and will try to sculpt sessions to exactly what is causing discomfort to you. I had plateaued for a number of years as to my back flexibility but about a month ago we were talking about the back muscles and both of us realized that I was not understanding the correct muscles and my back was weak for certain things. We have been working now to correct this issue and suddenly, I am making unbelievable changes that I thought I was “too old†to correct. Paula is a miracle worker and Ben, you should actually show up, pay attention, and get to know the person you are reviewing before you try to ruin the reputation of the singularly best yoga instructor within 100 miles ( possibly more) just to rectify the fact that you screwed her out of being payed. You are deplorable.

When I first started going to Shanti Yoga and Fitness a year and a half ago, I was at a low point in my life and needed a hobby to simply get my mind off of certain stresses. What I didn't realize was that coming to Shanti Yoga was going to change my life for the better. Not only have the classes served my initial purpose, but it has changed my perspective on life, boosted my self-confidence, and has left me in the best physical shape I have been in a long time. Paula is an incredible instructor who truly cares about the growth and wellbeing of her "yogis." If there is a pose that somebody is struggling with, she will always try to get to that person and help break down the pose so they can do it on their own. Her classes are a lot of fun and I cannot recommend Shanti Yoga and Fitness highly enough!

Shanti Yoga and Fitness is amazing! Paula is an amazing instructor who has a kind heart and infectious spirit. You feel like your at home with family and dear friends when your there. Everyone is so kind and motivating and we love to cheer people on! When I walked in I knew I found a place where I belonged! My mind, body, and soul feel much better and I look forward to every time I'm with Paula and my fellow yogis!!
