I guess they don’t wanna sell. We went for a “tour” which it really wasn’t a tour obviously if you book an appointment for a tour you wanna see the whole amenities and at least one of the apartments. He show us not one apartment and only showed us the gym when in the wedsite it says the amount of amenities they have. We have the money pay we even told him we wanna see some from 3100. I really liked it for what I saw on the wedsite the playground area and the dog park
I don’t know if they are racist or what, which would be weird because they obviously either Hispanic and black. I think his name is Daniel

I had my package stolen last week. I found the empty box in the trash room. There are signs up in the mail room from other tenants who have had their mail stolen as well and multiple online reviews about mail theft. At this point, I don't want to have anything delivered here.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding an ongoing issue that has been affecting my experience as a resident in our building: the theft of packages.
Recently, I have experienced multiple instances where my packages have been stolen from the delivery area, which has caused considerable frustration and inconvenience. This situation not only affects me but likely other residents as well, creating a sense of unease about the security of our belongings.

ROACHES!!!!!!! INHABITABLE LIVING CONDITIONS.
*UPDATE FROM A PREVIOUS REVIEW I MADE HERE ABOUT THE ROACHES*
I am now THREE extermination processes in. And my apartment is still filled with roaches. And management has the audacity to still say to “wait it out”. And also that we still need to pay fees to break our lease.
When I requested the pest control/maintenance notes for the all the exterminations they did so I could take legal actions for proof- they of course, could only find notes on ONE of the exterminations done. This place is such bullshit. They act all professional and feed you BS to sign the lease. I have a 2 month old now. I have no choice but to break my lease (a fee of twice the rent, basically 5k to relocate myself and my family. Not to mention another 5k to move into a different apartment not at the chase (first, last, brokers fee etc)). ALL BECAUSE THE CHASE AT OVERLOOK SUCKS AND ITS MANAGEMENT IS BEYOND INCONSIDERATE. If you look at the multiple other reviews complaining, it’s clearly a building issue due to lack of management not stoping the infestation earlier on. They’re so careless here. I cannot repeat it enough - DO NOT MOVE HERE. WORST FRANCHISE I HAVE EVER INVOLVED MYSELF WITH. THEY MAKE IT EASY TO MOVE IN FOR A REASON.
Here are more roach pictures after our THIRD extermination process. :)

I moved into the apartment facing significant stress and inconvenience, but after much insistence, the management listened to us and provided some temporary solutions that initially left us satisfied.
However, after four months, the rat infestation has become a monthly occurrence. The maintenance team, although always very proactive and attentive, does not have the necessary supplies, such as rat glue traps, which are the bare minimum. Only one pest control treatment was carried out by a specialized company, but the problem remains unsolved.
At one point, a very helpful member of the management team suggested that we consider moving to another apartment due to the severity of the issue. However, this request was denied twice by the person in charge, making it clear that there is no real concern for the residents' well-being.
In short, do not rent here, especially on the ground floor where the indoor trash room is located.

Yer 7 months. These mice have eaten my food, left droppings all over my apartment (including my bed and clothes!), and made the place completely unlivable. I’ve contacted management multiple times, and they send “pest control” as a token gesture, but the situation has only gotten worse. Nothing effective has been done.
If that wasn’t enough, I have to walk 3 minutes to let guests in every time because the buzzer hasn’t worked in over a year. My guests are forced to pay $3 an hour for parking just to visit. Add in the fact that the new management is terrible—maintenance requests are either ignored or take months to address, and even then, most things are left broken with empty promises of fixing them later. Spoiler: they never do.
Now, the kicker—they have the audacity to raise the rent by over $1,000. After such a horrible experience, it’s laughable they think anyone would pay more for this mess. Needless to say, I’m not renewing my lease and I highly recommend that no one else even considers moving here.
Save yourself the headache. Looks can be deceiving, and this place is a prime example.

UPDATE: 10/17/2024 – For those writing reviews about rodents and pests, know that at this point, it’s best to keep contacting the Revere and Malden Health Departments and also consider consulting a lawyer. If you're planning to move here, save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere—somewhere with fewer issues and no rodent problems. The most recent reviews about rodent infestations and the office's dismissive attitude are 100% accurate. The management will lie straight to your face. I've only received responses from Andre, but he stepped in too late after Angel and Ana had already ruined the place. Most leasing agents are friendly only until you sign the lease; after that, they don’t care and become rude.
December 2023-
1. Poor Communication: Getting a response often requires sending multiple emails, and when you don't receive one, visiting the office results in encounters with staff who appear less than welcoming when they see you. Look at the other reviews that confirm this information.
2. Misinformation: Even before signing a lease, we asked essential questions and received incorrect answers. Asking questions seems to be the wrong thing to do. ( I was told there was no need for a smoke alarm). I have an email from one of the office 'managers'
3. Uncomfortable Interactions: Many leasing agents reside on the property, which is understandable. However, encountering them while walking your dog can lead to unfriendly reactions and expressions, which has occurred multiple times. Consequently, I now avoid certain areas to prevent discomfort.
4. High Utilities: Utility costs seem disproportionately high, especially for an apartment with limited lighting.
5. Maintenance Delays: After placing a maintenance order, I had to approach one of the workers outside for assistance, as more than seven days had passed without someone reaching out. The gentlemen was very nice.
6. In a typical home, you can order packages without worrying about someone stealing them. However, this isn't the case here. I've been living here for a month and a half, and three of my packages have been stolen. To have the building review the security camera footage, I'm required to file a police report.

I only have good things to say about this apartment.
1. Service: Eduardo Campelo was my leasing agent, and he did a great job answering my questions and requests on time. He made sure to explain everything in detail to me. My interactions with him as well as the rest of the leasing office personnel have been positive, pleasant, and helpful. Great job, guys!
2. Apartment: The apartment has good amenities and was in good condition at move-in.
3. Community: The community is quiet and the grounds are beautiful. The gym is well-equipped. The mail and package system are modern.
Overall, I have a very positive impression of the apartment at move-in. I'm excited to call this home and spend time with family and friends.

This building is terrible. Be advised. The management are nice people but upper management is absolutely useless.
The building we live in is filled with mice. They are everywhere in the hallways. The hallways smell terrible. The mail room is absolutely a disaster and many packages have been either damaged or stolen.
The grounds are filled with dog droppings everywhere and the trash room is absolutely beyond use.
We cannot wait for our lease to be ip as we will not continue to love here. We have always lived in apartment buildings but this has been the worst situation we have come across. We would never recommend anyone to this place.

There are some thieves living in this area as I always only receive broken and empty packages without my items inside. Besides, there are so many cockroaches in the garbage room.

Package 100% guaranteed lost with racist staffs
I've lived here for 1.5 years and here is the review -
Nobody is responsible for any package lost. Once it's delivered at the front door, it will be surely lost. And no matter how many times you talk with the staff, they will say they will pay attention and nothing happen for sure.
Racist staff especially the female manager there - I will circle back for getting her name. She doesn't like her job and will pretend to look at her phone whenever you pass by her. I'm a Asian btw. She never respond to any of the request and all her job is to change her cloth every morning and she calls it a day.
DO NO WASTE YOUR TIME HERE if you want to live a happy life.

After living here for over a month, I can finally share my experience. The leasing process started off well—all thanks to Marly, who is extremely kind and helpful. However, we've consistently noticed issues with rodents and roaches, and the leasing office doesn't seem concerned. I witnessed a resident trying to cancel his lease due to a severe roach infestation that was causing him allergic reactions, but he was told to pay a hefty termination fee.
We had our own minor issues. One of our utilities was broken when we moved in, and despite placing requests and visiting the office twice, it took almost two weeks to get it fixed. My wife needed to print two pages and was met with a very impolite response. The attitude of some staff members is discouraging.
Today, when I asked about rescheduling pest control because my sister-in-law, who is one month pregnant, is visiting, I was met with rudeness and sarcasm. They threatened a lease violation fine if we didn't comply and refused to check what the fee would be. I tried to express my concerns to a staff member who speaks Portuguese, thinking it would help communicate better. Instead, he mocked me by sarcastically spelling out "O-K" when I sought clarification, as I had understood "o que" ("what") since we were speaking in Portuguese. When I asked if he was mocking me, he replied that it's not his fault I don't understand. He then demanded that I leave and threatened to call the police. I laughed and asked what he would tell them since I wasn't being rude or yelling. He said he would report that I claimed the management team was rude. What a joke.
Bottom line: The units are nice, but don't expect any help from the management team. They still owe me $500 from a previous unit application, and they don't seem eager to resolve it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They are a mess. Give you the run around. One will tell you something the other will tell you another. They’ll make mistakes on the lease and say they’ll fix it later. Basically the application process is a headache. Ive lived all over Boston before and so far this has been the worse experience. You have to chase them literally that’s why they’re called The chase. Manager will tell you she will call you back and never will believe her name is Ana and we worked with leondra they were both terrible she kept making mistakes the place is terrribleeeeeeee. I can’t emphasize enough on how terrible their services are and lord have mercy if your an international student don’t even waste your time they don’t take international documents. I advance you to apply anywhere in revere but this place.

I’ve lived here for going on three years and I couldn’t recommend this place less. I love my apartment, which is why I’m giving 2 stars, but unfortunately, everything else here makes it a miserable experience and anything but “luxury” like it’s claimed. The back gate AND the back door to 16 Quarry Ln has been broken since at least March of 2023- so a year and a half. Anyone can just walk in so there is absolutely 0 level of security for this building. I’d say a majority of the people who live here are disgusting and ignorant. Courtyards are always left trashed on the weekends. Trash cans are always overflowing which then causes trash to blow around. After multiple memos being sent out about quiet hours, people still continue to throw parties in the courtyard that go until 1-2am. It’s the equivalent to living in a frat house. If you like to party and don’t have a job that you need to wake up for, I recommend living here! The office is always unresponsive not only to calls but emails. Good luck getting packages delivered to your building, because more often than not they get stolen. I know the office has a new GM and it seems as if they are trying to make changes slowly, but unfortunately unless they hire security like One North in Chelsea has, I don’t see anything here changing. One of the only positive things they’ve done is start charging for guest parking so people who live here stop parking their cars there. Altitude, Strata, One North, Steven’s Pond…..go check those buildings out if you want a similar vibe.
