Battambang Market is a good small Asian market described as awesome and sweet. It is small but packed with a wide selection of products and a lot of variety. It serves a wide group of communities with its stocked foodstuffs. The market has fresh fruit, fish, and veggies, alongside specialty goodies and many Asian ingredients that can be difficult to find elsewhere. These include items like lime leaves, curry leaves, galangal, duck eggs, and ingredients for spring rolls. It is a go-to place for exotic fruits like logans, jackfruit, lychees, and many varieties of mangoes and bananas. The pork and chicken are fresh, while the fish is frozen. The shaved ice with fresh mango and condensed milk is superb. A very small issue is that not every produce item is labelled, but the staff and owner are friendly, helpful, and nice. You won't be disappointed.
