βIβve been meaning to stop into Savenorβs for ages, and finally made it in after scoring a hard-to-find Too Good To Go bag. The staff was friendly and the bag itself felt promising - it was heavy. Unfortunately, when I got to the car and looked inside, it was a produce bag and everything except a single russet potato and a small ficelle was rotting. The main item was a five-pound butternut squash that had was mushy at the top. It was a real disappointment.
I did end up purchasing a boutique-flavor Jeniβs ice cream, but overall the shop didnβt leave a great impression. I live less than half a mile away and had hoped this would become a regular stop, but the experience missed the mark for me.β

Their prepared foods make life so easy without sacrificing taste. The pasta salads are fresh and delicious, and the grape nut pudding is truly amazing β a must-try! They even carry Richardsonβs Ice Cream, which is always a treat.
I canβt visit without grabbing some of my longtime favorites β the garlic spread is addictive, and the kidney bean dip has been a household staple for years. The buffalo chicken fingers are perfectly seasoned with just the right kick. And last nightβs roast sirloin end cut? Absolutely delicious β tender and flavorful.
Itβs rare to find a place that consistently delivers this level of quality across the board. Friendly service, incredible food, and so many standout items β this shop deserves every bit of five stars! ?β
βThe best chicken cutlets - perfectly sliced and trimmed - I only want cutlets from Sulmona! And the Roastacciini - lamb skewers are the best - must have for any bbq or pizza party. WE LOVE THEM, cant get enough, highly recommend and purchase from here beginning of every summer. Now that I know about the cutlets may have to go back more often!! YUM!!β

My mom gets excited every time they have box sales and sent me to pick up a BBQ box they had. Everything in the pic was $200 and even if it was more the quality is always great. They helped me bring the box out and the prepared food I bought because I didnβt buy lunch was delicious!β

βWe grabbed two sandwiches and went to the nearby hidden park up the street (fantastic place to sit and eat - Temple Street Park). There was no seating available on the patio at CRCC.
All-in-all, we enjoyed our food for the most part. The sandwiches were very fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the #3 (Fried Chicken) and my wife enjoyed her #4 (turkey). The sides were just okay, not very fresh (we got one of each).
There is a selection of cheeses, sauces, and drinks. A bit of a smorgasbord of options.
We paid $38 (including one iced tea and tip). I know we're in Boston, but even that seemed a lot, especially considering it was not sit down and had no place to go right there.
Probably wouldn't go back and would try another of the many options in the area, but the sandwiches were fresh and tasty.β
βI had a quick request for the Meat Market. I needed catering for 50+ people for an after-funeral meal. I needed it in less than 24 hours and Patsy and his team did a fantastic job. I so appreciate their efforts. The food and service were fantastic. I highly recommend The Meat Market.β

βI love this store. It has almost all the dried beans, lentils, legumes you could ask for. There's lots of bulk spices and a good selection of tea. I haven't tried their meat, but everything I have tried has been good quality for decent prices. If you live in the area, this is a great shop to stock up on bulk supplies or grab an ingredient you run out of.β

βAbsolutely excellent customer service. The owner delivered the spices I bought personally for me when I could not get there although they were not currently even delivering. This was exceptionally nice of him. They are super friendly and just great business people. The spices were completely authentic. Excellent taste. I highly recommend. Love this place.β
βI have been a long standing customer of Puritan Beef. They take great care of their customers, they have done a custom order for me on occasion when they didn't carry regularly what I was looking for and the quality of the meat I purchased has been excellent! If that wasn't enough, they have very reasonable and affordable prices. Cannot recommend them enough!!β
βWhen you are hosting family coming out of state for Mother's Day and want to serve steak tips...only 1 option...D&N sirloin tips hands down! My family favorite is the Sweet Asian Chili but they are ALL delicious...oh and delivery...is FAST...give them a try!β

βExtremely reliable butcher shop, we've gotten pork belly, picanha, and beef they ground right in front of us. Good prices for the quality.
The market has a big variety of products for such a tiny space. Come early while the 'cheesebread' and bread are most fresh.β
βFriendly service when I went in. Although there was a bit of a language barrier i was still able to get what I wanted. A bit upset they didnt have the beef jerky i was looking for but the sandwiches came out to be really good so it was worth the first time visit for me. Will most likely be going be again for the sandwichesβ
βOne of my favorite spots in Southie! Must try for lattes (the banana bread latte is my personal favorite) and sandwiches. I also love their grab & go section for when I'm in a time crunch!

βSolid butcher. Has an array of fresh meat options (whole chicken, wings, legs, sausages, and steaks) as well as some cold items, fresh vegetables, and pantry staples. The place is immaculately clean. Prices are very reasonable. Bilingual signage and staff. Skip Shaw's and get your meat from the local butcher.β
