Beautifully curated nautical themed pottery. Local artists and brands abroad. Staff always friendly. I have many pieces from the past few years. The other review about parking is quite ignorant. Visitors to Bear Skin Neck can never park right on the neck - always have to find street parking and walk onto the neck. That should be obvious. There's like 6 parking spots on the waterfront and hundreds of visitors everyday. Of course you can't park there. With all the pedestrians, guests shouldn't even drive onto the neck in the first place unless it's for loading or something.

Stopped to do a little shopping but apparently we parked in the wrong spot. We got "told" we needed to move our car or it would be towed by the lady working the counter. It felt like we were in California. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere.

Lots of beautiful pottery from artists from Rockport and nearby. Be sure to get the story behind your piece!

Lilia made the experience in this gift show such a living delightful one! I thought she was the shop owner as she was so full of passion and care for the items. I hope the owner of this shop sees her as the asset that she is! I will be back just because of her! Visited Sunday September 1, 2019

The owner of this store is always friendly and personable. The prices are not much different than if you go to the artists gallery. I know as I have done so. Worth a visit.

Alexander's Pottery store is on my favorite stretch of Bearskin Neck, and kind of easy to walk by since the outside of the store really doesn't stand out. Inside though, the merchandise is really nice and unique. Obviously, all sorts of pottery pieces, and other decorative pieces by local artists. Knick knacks abound, and there's also some CDs and jewelry. Prices are aimed at tourists who want to buy a special piece of pottery crafted in Rockport. Local people won't buy their pottery at a place like Alexander's. Most shops in Rockport are like this: jacked up prices so a tourist can buy a "special" piece that people who live here know better than to buy. That being said, it is a pretty cool shop for browsing. I can't say I've ever purchased anything there. They have plenty of customers though, and the clerk is always friendly, if not a bit stand-offish. Be sure to pop in and look around.
