I also have the beautiful book Lauri illustrated. We have often brought family here when they visited. We enjoyed visiting his gallery when we lived in Massachusetts and are sorry to hear he has been unwell. Wishing Lauri all best wishes in his recovery.”

“In 1929, the Rockport Art Association found a permanent home in an 18th century building on Main St. Formally the home of a sea captain, an inn, a tavern and now houses a wonderful collection of art for artists and art lovers to enjoy. The Cape Ann School of Art is featured and some works by Marguerite Pearson’s Boston school of Art are shown. Many of the works are for sale and some are on display only. The Association is closed on Monday. Admission is free 10:00-5:00 and a donation box is available.”
