I am up visiting a friend in Salem, MA and on the drive up here started to hear a terrible wining sound from the front driver side wheel. I called Jim on my way up and he was so friendly and immediately put me at ease. I visited Auto Haus the next morning and after waiting a short period of time, they put the car up, took a quick look, and bent the brake dust shield quickly back into place. So easy breezy! He also told me all about the history of Salem while I waited. If I lived here, this would absolutely be my go-to spot.

I dont ever leave reviews, however I am very grateful for Jim at Auto Haus.
My mk7 Golf was overheating and I had my car towed to him for a second opinion after another shop a few towns over left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
This other big shiny garage tried to take me to the cleaners, while Jim and his humble shop didn't BS me and treated me fairly and with respect. Figures.
Jim got me back on the road quickly and at a better price than any one else had quoted me.
He never tried to upsell me, in fact he did just the opposite. He ensured I wasn't spending money on any repairs that were unwarranted.
Communication was easy and the experience overall was not just a pleasure but actually felt like a huge relief.
This is the only place I will be bringing my VW from now on. My faith in volkswagens and humanity is restored.
VW or otherwise, I would recommend anyone in the area bring their vehicle to this honest shop.

For months I had an issue with my car that made it unsafe to drive with a baby, and had taken it to several mechanics who could not identify the cause. I was giving up on finding a fix, but was finally referred to Auto Haus by another mechanic with great reviews in Beverly after explaining the issue to him. He told me Auto Haus had top knowledge of Volkswagens, and I have to agree. Within hours of dropping my car off they identified the issue, explained it to me so that it made sense, ordered the parts to fix and completed the repairs the following Monday. The repeat issue has not happened since. More than happy and relieved to trust my car again. Thank you so much for the great and honest work!!

My wife was driving our 2015 VW Golf Sportwagen when it suddenly stopped. Would not go into second gear (yes, it's a 6 spd manual). clutch was done, after 120,000+miles. We were leaving for Christmas with family in Germany. When we got back, the clutch repair was done, and we saved a lot over the dealer estimate. This was the first mechanical repair to the car since it was new, other than some emission work in response to the diesel scandal, which cost nothing. it's been working flawlessly for three months.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the work these guys did on my car, I wish I knew about them sooner! I was kept in the loop at every stage. This shop purchased a used part from me that was very clearly advertised as untested with no guarantee or warranty for what I assume was a repair on a customers vehicle. The part, a 30 year old instrument cluster, did not function fully which is not all too surprising given the age and nearly 200k miles of use and they requested a refund. Again, the ad states that I do not accept returns so I declined to accept the return and they left me negative feedback. I would not trust a shop that purchases cheap unknown parts online to repair customer vehicles. They should have had the original part repaired or spent more on one that was guaranteed to function fully, that is what a professional repair shops would have done.

I was so grateful when my boyfriend recommended Auto Haus for my car repair needs. I needed to get my car mirror replaced in a pinch and Auto Haus was the perfect place to get this done. I was beyond impressed with the service I received there; everyone greeted me with a smile and attentive questions about how they could help me. I was fortunate to work with one of their expert mechanics, Paulo who is nothing short of a gift from God. He is honest, trustworthy, thorough, talented, and just so pleasant and kind. He truly cares about making sure everyone's car gets the best possible care at the most affordable price (he even helped me talk to my car insurance company because he is also an assessor which is invaluable!). He will only suggest things that absolutely needs to be done and will work within your budget to the best of his ability. I so appreciate mechanics like Paulo as someone who does not know much about cars; it means the world to me to know there are mechanics out there who do not exploit people's ignorance about cars. I referred my sister to him as well and she had nothing but laudatory things to say about him. The fact that I can confidently and enthusiastically recommend Auto Haus and Paulo for her car needs speaks volumes about just how remarkable they are. Thank you so much for the exceptional customer service and for being my go to for car repair needs. I don't care where in MA I live, I will not go anywhere else!

Helped me out in a pinch. Had planned to swap my own transmission fluid/filter/pan but couldn’t do it myself. They did it without issue at a reasonable rate. Really happy with job.
