DiVE KS is the best and most reliable dive shop for scuba diving training- look no further!!
Backstory-
I originally started my training at another dive shop nearby, not realizing just how much the quality of instruction can vary. My initial training at the other shop was rushed and crammed with so many people that the instructor actually skipped over skills and passed me on skills I didn’t understand. I left as I was terrified by their program and instruction, and I was not the only one....
I then contacted DiVE KS, and the difference was night and day. Their approach is thorough, professional, and highly attentive, ensuring that every student truly understands the material and feels confident in the water. The instructor took their time, making sure NO detail was overlooked. From the moment I walked into their dive shop, it was clear that they genuinely care—not just about getting you certified or making a sale, but about making sure you’re a skilled, knowledgeable and confident diver.
They truly go above and beyond. Rather than pushing sales, they focus on educating you so you can make the best choice for your needs. That level of integrity and passion is rare.

DiveKS gave me a wonderful experience getting my basic scuba certification. This process was easy and Kirk was an amazing teacher. He spent time helping me perfect my skills and was focused on my success throughout this process. I am so glad I chose this dive shop as they made the experience fun and were dedicated to helping me reach my goals. I can’t wait to use my certification scuba diving in Mexico and continue to stay in contact with DiveKS for future adventures

I recently completed my PADI certification at DIVE KS, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the our instructor was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about diving. He was patient, clear in his instructions, and made me feel comfortable at every step. What I appreciated most was how eager they were to adjust to my schedule and get me certified as efficiently as possible. Additionally, the equipment was well-maintained, and the dive sites were amazing. I highly recommend DIVE KS!

Kirk went above and beyond with my 16 year old daughter's closed water/pool scuba lessons, as well with open ocean dives during a dive trip to Roatan Honduras. Despite her anxiety, he helped her to become skilled and confident, and sucessfully become a certified diver. Highly recommend Dive KS!

Great place to learn diving. Kirk , the instructor is thorough, supportive and very talented. Highly recommend even for people who are scared or may have trouble learning diving. He does not move on until you fully understand the skill, allowing for a more comprehensive and personal learning. He is a very patient and kind teacher who is quite experienced and understanding The scheduling is also very flexible and personally tailored, meaning you can get your diving license at your own pace, whether that be fast or slow. Overall great place and I highly recommend for any person regardless of skill or how nervous they may be to pursue a diving license.

The best experience I’ve had at a dive shop in the New England. Having multiple certifications from dive ks has been a joy and Kirk goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and confident when diving. He prepared me immensely for diving not only in New England but during my time in Florida as well for work. I would recommend dive ks for any dive need anybody needs!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! Absolutely the most amazing diving center I have ever been too. Literally became best friend with the entire crew, and have awesome memories after our scuba trips, as you can tell with my review, they were the best trips ever. Don’t just come here for classes, but also stay for the ambiance and friendship you’ll build with the people who are part of this shop. Would recommend this shop a thousand times over

I had an issue with my mares quad, so I went to the closest mares dealer from my current location wich was Dive KS at this moment, Erika, patiently and very professionally helped me until the end of the process so I could choose between a new one or the refund.

Just completed my confined water course for the PADI open water certification with Kirk from DiVE KS. I'm a scuba novice and thoroughly enjoyed the course. Not only is Kirk an expert diver, he is also a terrific teacher that takes teaching each skill seriously. He is the ultimate professional, patient and full of very useful information (and a really nice guy to boot!). I can highly recommend DiVE KS to anyone looking to get into scuba.

I’ve been diving since I was 12 years old I have 29 years of that experience I worked with a dive company as a teenager in the tropics, got to dive all over the world while in the military, the only reason I’ve gone with DIVE KS is because of the professionalism of the instructor. while I’ve gone through other institutions within the region they’ve pushed me through or not adhered to the requirements just to quickly get me certified out the door. Now what made me stay with DiVE KS is because they made me do a review before they took me on for my master diver certification in doing so they found discrepancies in my previous certifications from other DIVE programs, which we then rectify to ensure the safety of myself as a diver and other divers that I’d be working with moving forward I would only dive with this institution. They adhered to the Safty of the diver first and foremost and were awesome to work with since I work full time they communication with them was amazing, then they worked around my schedule best they could. We were doing pool work at 8pm one night because that was the only time i could get to them. If you want safe and professional go with this group.

Kirk truly goes out of his way to give you the best experience possible. He and the team have great coordination and try their best to work around your schedule to meet your needs. The classes are well priced for the experience and education you gain. I completely my refresher course easily and timely with Kirk. He was friendly, listened well to what I needed, helped me stay on task, and has an amazing knowledge/experience base that he educates well.I was very comfortable and felt safe while learning with Kirk. He was open to talking with me about some areas I self identified were concerns and gently pointed out areas where he saw I could make small improvements to enhance my diving skills. The course material was quick, but not too fast, and I felt supported always.I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and enriching diving education experience. I look forward to continuing my education with Dive KS and hopefully venturing with them on a dive trip at some point!!
