This was in my top five stores I visited in Salem! I accidentally stumbled by it and OH WHAT FUN! The store is filled with unique finds, plants, trinkets, prints, so so much!
I got a Creature From The Black Lagoon print as well as some beetles in amber and brass dinosaurs. That just tells you the variety! The owner was very nice and personable! Everything was very reasonable in price. :)

This place sells plagiarized tarot decks. I thought maybe it was just a smaller version of the same original deck but once I opened it, it was obvious it was a fake. I spoke to an incredibly rude man who refused to refund me and basically called me stupid and hung up on me.

Crossing the threshold is like somehow passing into a liminal space, dreamlike. The words “tasteful menagerie” come to mind—part greenhouse, part antique house, inspiring & stimulating to the senses & so well curated. Pretty iconic establishment!!!

I really, really love this place. It’s a whole vibe. Definitely a one of a kind atelier. I told the owner (or the person I believe to be the owner) today, that every time I visit I enter an enchanting reverie. It is truly such a magical place. I love the things I’ve collected from this collection, and even just basking in the very aesthetic and calming — yet seemingly wild —ambience has such a transportive effect. I have been to a great many magical places, very fortunately, and this lands among those. Yet, it is entirely unique, its very own organic, singular self. A Salem must visit.

My wife and I are always looking for unique stores and came across Mark Your Spot when visiting Salem. We loved all the items in the store and Also got this great macrame that the owner makes for our atrium.

Came in randomly because the store front caught my eye... and I'm so glad I did. This place has an awesome collection of collectibles, plants, and decor. The owner was so nice And personable. I ended up purchasing a beautiful piece of decor. I will definitely be making another stop to this store on any future trips to Salem.

If you haven't come into the shop you really need to. It's a mix of antiques, locally made gifts like candles, lighting and exotic plants. It's in a small space but every inch is covered in coolness. I called to see if they had a philodendron. They said they would text me when they had some in. I can't think of many local businesses who would call or text someone back when something was in stock. The owners are very knowledgeable. I have a tendency to kill plants and they gave me useful advice for the welfare of the plant. It was a bit large and the owner (Eric I believe?) carried it to my car. Seriously what a class act. Shop small and don't overlook this little gem of a shop!
