I called repeatedly and spoke to at least 3 different people while my daughter was in the HOSPITAL (just out of the ICU) and I was trying to arrange storage for her college items because she would be taking a semester off to recoup.. Not once did they inform me that they required an additional monthly fee for insurance, and did repeatedly tell me that their promotional price would be waived for the first month in lieu of the deposit and insurance. They also told me repeatedly that their promotional price was $29 +tax (or something close to that),We went there in person to get the unit and move the couple of boxes of her belongings in, and were never given paperwork to sign, it was emailed to us after we returned home (5 hours from the location, and they were aware of how far away we lived). This paperwork actually ended up in my spam folder and we were never aware of it until the following month when they contacted us about payment. It was then and only then that we were made aware of a recurring ADDITIONAL fee of over $17 for insurance. They demanded that we sign their agreement (not going to happen) and pay this additional fee. I said they never told me about this and they "researched" it and said that they listened to the phone calls where they did inform me. I said I wanted a copy of those calls and if that was the case, then we would sign and pay. Those phone calls were never sent, never played and it was most likely because either they found out that it was never mentioned or they outright lied and the calls were never recorded. We waited for those calls and they never came, a month later they sent another email requiring payment for the unit and insurance (Now over $60 instead of $29.99 +tax.) We have gotten a separate insurance policy and they will not give us the location identification for the business that the insurance company needs to ensure they are legitimate. They are also saying they will not honor the insurance policy. If we were able to drive the 5 hours to get her items out of there, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but it is impossible due to health issues and so they have made a mother's worst nightmare of almost losing her daughter into an ongoing nightmare of having to deal with this on top of everything else. We have never used a storage facility before and I will be damn sure never to use this company again. To be fair, their corporate office is far more helpful stating that they would get the recorded phone calls to us, but the site itself never did send them. Today they said it is not their policy to release those recordings, but their corporate office said they would provide them.Perhaps it is just a staffing issue and the other prime storage facilities are better but the one on congress street (MA18) in Salem MA is not. Don't trust your items with them. They even went as far as to tell us they would not allow us access to her items if we didn't sign the agreement to pay the astronomical insurance fee when we can get outside storage insurance for $5 per month.. DON'T USE THIS FACILITY!

Unable to pay my bill online. Have been late because of this. Left a message with the office before due date to either pay or figure out why it says I have no unit and noone returned my call. Left my phone#. Them, my fault, I forgot to pay, and ended up paying more because I was late. The automated message came through though to remind me that my bill was due and then past due, so they have my # AND I left it in my message. Stinks will try again to straighten this out before next month for sure, can't afford late fees.

Excellent storage space. Well kept and maintained. Good climate control is easy to keep temps with the ease of using newly, rewired designs.
