Last week, My total was $5.70 and I asked to charge my card $5.40 which the female employee had done. I gave her the remaining owed in cash $0.30 to be exact. There is no reason why my checking account should be in the negative today when NOTHING WAS PENDING. I literally woke up today to see somebody at Walyos took the $0.30 TODAYthat I physically paid already. Being a person with severe OCD you are not ever going to beat me out of a cent. Forever doing any business elsewhere.

It costs a dollar to buy something when you swipe your card,he charges a minimum to use your debit card (which is illegal) to use his ATM machine costs $5.00, his 20oz root beer is $2.50 , Right up the street at the mobile station the same root beer is $1.25, to use the ATM cost $2.00 Walyos is way over priced on everything & his chewing gum is stale & brittle & his candy bars have a Grey color to them its mold

I have been shopping at this local convenience store for 7 years, before and during COVID. The owners are friendly, stayed open during the pandemic even though they are older (and at risk), and the store carries a variety of drinks, grocery staples, and household cleaning products. I'm glad it's in the neighborhood, so I don't have to drive to the grocery store as often.

The owner is a friendly guy. It's a basic place. It's got a large cooler section, with lots of beverage choices, including beer and wine. There is an A.T.M inside if you need to take out cash. Lots of snacks and canned goods. Plastic wear and paper plates, towels and toilet paper. Scratch tickets, cigarettes. It's got pretty much what a convenient store should have. Good place, recommended.

I go there for wine, when I feel like walking. I wish they had a better selection, but it is a tiny neighborhood store. I'm happy it is there.

as expensive as these little stores tend to be anyway, I guess they don't think they're making enough money, the machine at the counter (card swiping) always takes $1.00 they say it doesn't ,but, oh yeas it does, on 6 occasions I have checked my debit card balance (before going in to the store) & no matter what my balance is as soon as I slide the card there is always $1.00 less, they have told me it's MY bank, (it's not) for instance if I go to Walgreens with $6.00 on my card I can buy $6.00 of whatever, but at Waylos if I go in with $10.00 on my card on my card to buy smokes, as soon as I slide my card there is only $9.00 available, IT'S NOT MY BANK IT IS THE STORE!!! try it yourself, check you balance before you go in, & buy something for the amount you have available, you will be told it is either a coincidence or your bank

Walyos has saved my life MANY times. they have a $7 credit card minimum but they do have an ATM on site. The prices are comparable to other privately owned businesses, and recently they had a flavor of Ben and Jerry's that i couldn't find in ANY grocery store! LONG LIVE WALYOS!

Avoid this place. Filthy, overpriced and rude. I went to buy something and was barked at that it was CASH ONLY. I suggested that maybe they should put up a sign and I received yet another rude response. I told the OWNER that he needn't be so rude about it and he said "why not, it's a convenience store." Attitudes like that cause happy folks like me to not only write accurate reviews but take our business elsewhere. Good riddance and purchase a mop and bleach.

This little convenience store has everything you need! They have a ton of snacks and candy as well as a decent wine and beer selection. They have some pantry staples and household goods too. Their ice cream selection varies, but is the reason I'm in most often...friendlys and Ben and Jerry's are available regularly - perfect when you need a late night treat...plus they have dog biscuits which baxter loves! The folks that work there are friendly, too!
