Visited Witch City Ink while visiting Salem. I have an arm dedicated for travel tattoos and I knew exactly what I wanted to get while I visited here. I met Amy who works the front desk and she was very pleasant. It’s a very busy shop and there were multiple people there waiting but Amy took the time to answer all of my questions without seeming rushed. You pick from the (big) book of flash and then do a $20 cash deposit to put your name on a list. (The $20 comes off final price) I went in around 1:30 and was called to come in at 3:45. It was plenty of time to get some things done around town that I wanted to. I had the opportunity of meeting Jorge who was fantastic. Great conversation and my tattoo came out great! Would definitely recommend this shop!

The artist refused placement of a tattoo that wasn’t ‘anatomically correct’. No tattoo artist is going to dictate the orientation of a tattoo that’s going on my body. Absolutely insane to think they would. Go literally anywhere else in Salem to get your work done.

Great shop. Front desk was incredibly kind and my artist, Renee, is an absolute DREAM! I got a tattoo in a very spicy spot but she was so gentle and lovely the entire time.
Did a walk in and they got me in pretty quick!

Came to Salem in June and decided to stop in for matching tattoos. Matteo was our artist and he was nice up until I asked him to please redo the stencil since it wasn’t straight. He immediately became rude and was wiping me really hard trying to get the stencil off (whatever), so he puts the new stencil on and we start my tattoo and he starts wiping me with a DRY paper towel over and over again. The tattoo took about 30 minutes and the entire time he wiped me very aggressively with a dry paper towel. I had severe friction burn and my tattoo healed horribly. I almost went to urgent care about 6 days after my tattoo had been done. I had it touched up recently by my tattoo artist back home and he even said he saw evidence of friction burn because of how it healed and scarred. He said my skin is all chewed up and the touch up was so painful because of the scarring. Also paid $200 for the tattoo. I debated posting a review but after having another artist confirm how aggressive Matteo was and that the shoddy work and healing was indeed artist error/mistreatment, I decided it was time to warn others. Get tattooed here at your own risk.

Had a great experience at Witch City Ink in Salem. Andrew was welcoming right away and made us feel comfortable. Natan, the owner, was awesome to talk to and clearly knows his stuff. Wife came out with a tattoo she absolutely loves and the whole shop had a great vibe. I would definitely recommend Witch City Ink to anyone looking for quality work and a good atmosphere

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with Andrew and Sharon on my visit to Witch City Ink! Andrew kept things fun and enjoyable while we got set up, tweaked designs, and spent a few hours getting our tattoos done. Sharon was patient, kind and great at listening to what we wanted. The whole process was relaxed and easy. I was extra impressed by how they treated my grandma who got her second tattoo ever at 78 and needed assistance getting up on the table and getting comfortable. If I'm ever in Salem again I will be back for more ink! Thanks for the great experience and memory with my grandma, mom, and sister!

My wife and I took a short trip to Salem and decided on getting matching tattoos while we were there and Kyle at Witch City Ink was a wonder to work with. He was real quick and really fun to talk to and his work was solid! Highly recommend going here.

My mother and I were recently in (on a whim) while visiting Salem. We had a vague idea of what we wanted for matching tattoos. Kyle was just the right person to work with us. He listened to what we wanted, made some great suggestions, and quickly came back with some beautiful work. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommend him!
The shop itself is that perfect blend of goth and professionalism. Clean and esthetically pleasing when you're in the mood for spooky.

My fiancé and I got tattooed by Kyle and it was such a pleasant experience!!! Not only are the tattoos sick as hell, but he made our time there so comfortable and super fun. Such a great conversationalist and had a lot of cool suggestions for us! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back to see him!

This is one of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had, hands down. For one, the shop is everything you could want from a Salem tattoo parlor. I called down to the shop around 6:15 to see if they were still doing walk ins (to a resounding yes, all day first come first serve) and had easily picked out a customized flash tattoo with the help of the kind receptionist by 6:30. Kyle modified the image for me from the original flash art within 10 minutes and I was tatted, wrapped, paid and out within the hour with some of the most beautiful lines and shading you can imagine.
Kyle is one of the easiest people to chat with, and really does a great job of making his clients feel welcomed and comfortable from the second he introduces himself. His willingness to (on the fly, without an appointment) make the modifications I requested and work with me in size/placement beats out any of the hometown artists/shops I’ve experienced. I live on the other side of the country, but I could easily see myself coming back to add to what could be the start of an awesome, personalized leg sleeve.
