They have a fantastic selection of items perfect for kids, from wands and robes to unique trinkets that will delight any young fan. ROSE!...... she has became my favorite.... thing about salem. Idk how else to put it that lady is a treasure! I haven't seen people be that passionate about what they do since Universal or Disney and even they don't hold a cand.... a wand to Miss Rose! The wands are awesome too.

It was a little expensive, but it was a pretty neat place. If you're a Harry Potter fan, your mind will be blown when you walk in.

Magical and worthy of a review. Upon entering the store had that Harry Potter wand shop vibe. The place was uniquely set up and I was intrigued immediately. The lovely worker at the register kindly bid me hello and welcomed me warmly into the shop. As I started to make my rounds I noticed an array of real, crafted wands. When I say real, they are fully carved wooden instruments of magic per se. Curious and a bit skeptical I made my way towards the shop's worker and asked her to explain how to determine the different wands. She would look exactly as I would imagine a goodly witch to be. She spoke with such eloquence and rhyme; you couldn't help but feel safe and relaxed around her. I was informed that all the wands here were actually constructed on location by an array of vested artisans like herself. She explained that if, perhaps I was a teacher then one kind of wand would suffice for the teacher's needs. She then moved to another one and stated if the teacher was also a writer and needed elements of creativity to choose another kind of wand, then the one she held would do the trick. I looked a little more around and my girlfriend beckoned me to leave. So we did. After moving around Salem's other stores I oddly found myself back at the front of the store. My girlfriend had a quick errand she needed to take care of back at the hotel, so I told her I'd meet her a little later. Upon parting I couldn't help but return inside the store. The elder artisan was awaiting me behind the register. Without preamble I walked towards her and asked, if I chose to purchase a wand, how might I actually use it. She smiled and explained to me it wasn't about some grand presentation or brandishing/flourishing the wand about as if I was concocting an incantation. No, she explained the soul resided within the area of the diaphragm and like praying, should I wish to pass good vibes, happiness, or luck towards someone or something to hold it with the long end of the wand out so that my energy may seek out that which I'm focused on. Likewise, turning it around can allow me seek or absorb the same kind of energy should I need it. Or pull the negative energy out of the room and letting it flow through the wand into me and out, down through the floor.I thoroughly enjoyed my time and instruction there and ended up buying a wand. After all, every teacher and writer needs a sort of inspiration or talisman to help with writer's block or coming up with unique ways to educate their kiddos. Oh, and in case you didn't clue in to it, I'm both. Before you assume or even ask, no I didn't share that piece of tidbit with the artisan behind the register. She just seemed to gravitate towards that example. Coincidence? No idea, but I did get the wand in which she pointed towards. It was a wand of unicorn horn.

My husband and I were in Salem for our honeymoon( April this year) and one of the places we really wanted to go to was Wynott's Wands and we are so happy we did. The shop is absolutely amazing, the staff was so helpful and had amazing knowledge of the wands which really helped with finding the perfect wand. I'm not sure why people keep saying the cashier is not friendly because that is definitely so untrue. The staff is nothing but amazing. If your in Salem, this is definitely a place you should stop by.

Best shop we visited in Salem. It's a must stop even if you aren't looking to purchase a wand. Just talking to the staff is incredible! Don't miss this!

Super cute experience, but it was much more expensive than down the street. I get that you're paying for the experience, but the wands are literally $20 down the street I also bought the Harry Potter spell book and saw they marked it up $10 over the suggested retail price. So we paid an additional $30 for a wand and a book... kind of lame to overcharge so much. But that what Yelp is for- just look around first

If you are visiting Salem this is a must see. Rose is extremely knowledgeable about all the wands. She made the visit very magical for me. I bought a wand and a journal and I love them! I’ll definitely be back on my next visit.

I’ve gone to quite a few shops on our visit to Salem, BUT I had to leave a review on this shop specifically. It’s nothing short of magical. The attention to detail inside from the decor to the actual retail items are insane. It’s beautiful & so whimsical. Of course a plus if you like Harry Potter, but even without the shop was just fabulous. The woman who was at the shop was truly making the magic feel real, & you can tell she enjoys being there/engaging with the customers. You have to visit if you are planning a trip to Salem.

I went in to get a wand as a gift for someone, but ended up getting one for myself too. It "spoke to me", as they say! The woman who served me was very passionate and knew all about the wands. I enjoyed the experience of this store and she really made it for me. It truly felt magical. (If you see this, my dragon made it home to NL safely!)I was going to avoid it originally because of certain developments regarding HP's author, but upon learning it wasn't actually affiliated with the series (though they do have merchandise- many shops in Salem do) I made the stop in and am glad I did! It's a very charming place.

Oh my goodness! How can anyone give this wonderful little shop LESS than 5 stars (and it's tough to get five outta me)!?!? My wife and I recently spent several days in Boston and took a quick day trip up to Salem to experience the witchiest (is that a word? Is now...) city in America! We stumbled upon this little shop and were instantly transported back to our love of a certain wizarding world and their multiple books and movie adaptations! I mean, you see - many of us can't see or experience where real witches and wizards go for wands, so of course - "they" created a special store in the best place possible for us normal people... Upon entering the shop, you might as well be stepping right into one of those movies I mentioned above...truly one of the most magical feelings I've felt since Disney. We were absolutely enchanted by Rose - the knowledgeable and just plain magical personality behind the counter. She was just the best - she took the time, in a very crowded shop - to help us pick our wands by asking some simple questions. She knew everything about the wood, the make, what each wand represented and their strengths... We watched her interact with several people, including a pair of young girls who were tickled pink by Rose's help. My wife and I each left with a wand which we (and Rose) felt best matched our callings in life. We now have them proudly displayed in an antique cabinet in our home. We loved every second of our experience here, and - even though the pricing of these wants may be a tad high - the unique experience more than made up the difference!

We had a nice time in the store and they have nice wands there. My grandaughter is really into Harry Potter so it was fun for her to see.
