“As I rekindled my love for Pokémon cards, I stumbled upon Krypton Comics while searching for the new Prismatic Evolution cards. While most places were completely sold out, Krypton still had a few poster packs left—I was lucky enough to snag the last two!
Inventory isn’t always guaranteed, but what truly sets this place apart is the owner. He’s incredibly friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely passionate about the hobby. Just yesterday, I discovered that Krypton also buys cards, but instead of selling, I ended up making some trades with him. He was super fair, and I walked away feeling like I got a great deal.
I’ll definitely be popping in frequently to support this awesome local business. Whether you’re into Pokémon cards, comics, other trading card sets, or vintage memorabilia, Krypton Comics is a must-visit spot for any collector or geek at heart!”
“Very fun place to walk around, definitely some unique and interesting things in there. However, not everything's an antique really - I picked up a vintage-looking padlock only to later discover it's just a cheap thing you can pick up online for less. I'd always rather support a local shop than an online store, but something about just reselling stuff you can find on Amazon for a few dollars more feels 'off' when it's in an antique shop”

“Nice little salvage shop I wish I had found them sooner. Stopped in just to look around, starting to think maybe I need another reno in my life. I won't give up my favs in South Hampton but definitely adding this shop to my favorites list.”
“I absolutely love this shop! In fact they have two locations! My 13 year old daughter and I had a great time browsing, she loves vintage jewelry and I found some amazing mid century décor for my home. They seem to have something for every taste in antique and vintage, and the owner and staff are very knowledgeable and were helpful and pleasant in answering my questions. We will definitely be back!”
“Our first trip, we have been going past her for years on the way to the beach and have not been able to stop when it is open. Friendly people and very decent prices and unique finds. We will definitely go back.”
“Wow, @EmilyGrondine, what a wicked liar you are! I stood next to the owner as she CALLED YOU and YOU PASSED on MY (now) beautiful Jordon Marsh Beacon Hill bay window...as heartbroken as you were...I was elated!!! I'd seen the piece a couple months before but couldn't purchase at the time...when I went back last week, I was told the window was ON HOLD for another customer, and the owner would have to CALL FIRST, to make sure the other customer no longer intended to purchase!!! Literally stood there, while Emily Grondine tried further negotiating price, and telling the owner she'd PUT HER ON TV if she could buy the piece for less, while I stood waiting with my credit card, ready to purchase!!! When you passed...I did a secret little happy dance!!! That you'd write a 1-star review, and LIE, says so much about YOU...SHAME ON YOU!!! Thanks, anyway, I'm so thrilled, I went back on Saturday and bought MORE salvage from the incredible Jordon Marsh mansion...NorEast Architectual Antiques is unmatched in what they do...excellent product and customer service! I'm a customer FOR LIFE and so HONORED to own these INCREDIBLE TREASURES!”
“Taking a detour off Market Square, I came upon Inn Street, a very narrow one-lane street that has been closed off to form a pedestrian mall with shops. The first one was the Brass Lyon. This shop has a nautical theme which fits well in this coastal city that was once a bustling seaport. Inside, I found a variety of merchandise. On the lower level, I saw T-shirts, sport caps, and jewelry cases as well as compasses. Chelsea clocks and weather instruments hung above the main area. Upstairs, I found a lot of models of sailing ships – yachts and old tall ships. I particularly liked one that was gaff-rigged which is my preferred rigging because it provides more sail area for the same mast height which means less hardware and other benefits. There were a lot of brass items that included door knockers and plaques. One unusual item was called Shark Off. It was a piece of jewelry that was supposed to repel sharks. As with most Newburyport shops, everything here was quality. I rate Brass Lyon at 4.50 and can recommend a visit. The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews. If you found this review useful, please click HELPFUL.”
“Great multi dealer antique shop! Two floors of antiques! Wide variety of items from small items to furniture. The shop is open 7 days a week and the staff are very helpful and friendly.”
“I find the eclectic offerings at this shop to be very nice. The people behind the counter are very helpful. One can even put one's name down on a Wish List if a particular item is wanted but not available when visiting.”
“My husband and I have bought many items from this store.
I was so sad to see some of these reviews.
Firstly, the back half of the store is run by Cyndi and a large portion of sales is donated to breast cancer research. Cyndi will dress you head to toe in vintage and classic garb. She's always full of laughs and smiles. She will easily brighten your worst day.
Secondly, Cam, the owner of the antiques and lighting is exceptionally knowledgeable and kind.
I always look forward to sharing a smile and learning something new.
I hope that moving forward people will take the time to get to know Cam before writing a negative review that could impact the success of his store and decrease the breast cancer research donations.
In a time when our society is so focused on acceptance, these reviews were so quick to criticize.”
“My husband and I relocated from PA to NH and Sandy was recommended to us by a colleague. We absolutely loved working with her! She did live video tours with us since we couldn't be there. She was very honest about the condition of the houses we looked at and when we finally found our house she took care of everything and went out of her way to deal with a problem. She also found us a fence company to fence the yard! I can't say enough about how great she was!!!”
“This place is a gem. has tons of beautiful furniture filling many barns, the majority of it is in excellent condition and at very fair prices. Mike is wonderful, patient and helpful if you’re looking for something specific, or just want to browse. Highly recommend.”
